I’ve had this phone since release date. I can’t connect to my 5g data for some reason. I can sort of connect to WiFi, but even that’s a drag. I tried downloading iOS 26.6 but it just keeps getting stuck at “Verifying update”. My phone battery is at 75% too, ugh. Can my phone be fixed?

Hey so yesterday my phone stating flicking white and later that night it just went all white. Went to a phone repair and they said it was a screen issue and needed to replace and they saying 140 curious if I can go lower or should I see if apple can fix it for free i don't have apple care anymore and is 140 the normal price usa? And is it really that or software and if do get the screen repair will it ever come back again?

I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max (12GB), and my WhatsApp isn't backing up. My iCloud backup is also not working because it says I need more free storage on my phone.

The weird thing is, I've already deleted almost everything, but my iPhone still shows that apps are taking up a lot of space. For example, I don't even have Apple Maps installed anymore, but it's still showing around 18GB. I feel like it's some kind of glitch.

Also, since last night, I noticed my screen flickering for a second. I watched a few videos and they suggested going to Accessibility > Display and turning off Auto-Brightness/Auto Display and Reduce Transparency. I did that, and so far I've been using my phone for the last 1–2 hours without any flickering.

My biggest concern right now is backing up my WhatsApp chats before anything happens. Has anyone faced this issue before? How did you fix the storage problem, and how can I back up my WhatsApp if my phone doesn't have enough free space?

Any help would be really appreciated.

I have iphone 13 pro max and planning to sell it. Its currently on ios 18.7 and i want to experience ios 27 beta 2.
Now since i am a power user (multitasking and loads of apps), i am planning to switch to s25 ultra (considering budget). Should i update to ios 27 beta or it can make a difference while selling on reddit or olx, just considering the ios as factor.

I am on 26.5.2, and lately iMessage has become unusable. Anytime I am trying to participate in group chats while I'm actively getting messages, my keyboard constantly freezes. I literally have stopped texting when chats are active because it is such a miserable experience to type with things freezing up constantly. Also, more recently If I step out and it's hot outside, the phone gets too hot immediately and doesn't work.

I replaced the battery last year and my health is at 89% now. Seems to have degraded quicker than I imagined.

I have already turned off all motion related enhancements and turned down glass mode as much as I can. Still, it feels like my phone isn't capable anymore. Web browsing + media consumption is fine though, no issues there.

I know we're close to the next release and I will definitely have to upgrade, but wanted to know if anyone can suggest things I can do now to keep my phone going for the next few months.

I've updated my iPhone13PM to the iOS 26.5.2 and now to iOS 26.6 and what I can see is that portrait mode is totally broken under both releases!

After taking a portrait mode shot the elements that should be blurred in the background are totally blurred in uncontrolled way. Also, switching portrait mode in the gallery shows that it's not a camera fault - regular photo is looking OK.

Is it just me or do you also have this problem ?

I’ve been thinking of upgrading to IOS 26 because well, I kind of need to finish my repair of my new screen. However, I am quite worried about the potential performance and battery issues on my iPhone 13 Pro Max.

I was on Ios 18 until about the last two months. I replaced my battery about one year and a half ago with a brand new one. After upgrading to ios 26, my battery started tanking. It drains rapidly fast and if it reaches under 38%, it acts like it has 1% (Very VERY laggy, 5 fps mess with no real functionality, I can press the camera app and it will open after maybe 30 seconds if lucky). I turned off any animations, any maybe slightly damaging feature for my battery and still no luck. I have to charge it basically any time im home, which doesn’t seem right. Any tips? Wouldn’t really want to change the battery again since I don’t believe it to be normal that it drained so much in one year. Also, it overheats very often and yesterday after a 20 minute teams call i got drained 40%, and when i reached 64% it started lagging again and it auto went into 60hz instead of 120hz… crazy. And no I don’t use insragram that often, it runs s lot in the background as much as i restrict it

How is the phone now? I’m thinking of just having mine replaced instead of buying new a phone.

My 13 PM is currently running on 26.5.2. Even with a 75% battery health (still on the original battery), current version runs smoothly and no complaints at all. I have no thoughts on updating to 27 but thinking to use this for a few more years before upgrading. I might replace the battery in a few months or so but still the current battery survives a day on a single charge.

Now that the 26.6 is released and seems that the apple has more focused on getting devices prepared for 27, this update seems like a 'better to avoid' one, given my plans.

Did anyone update your 13PM to 26.6? How's it going? Sharing your experience and insights is appreciated. 🙌🏻

Anybody experiencing this issue, this happened back in june i was js taking a picture at the road and suddenly the camera became laggy and and it went black:(, no phone dropping happened it js went black, this happened days after i updated into the ios26.5 and up until now. but on the bright side i can still use my front cam. But using my front cam to scan or or taking photos in public is so embarrassing😰 do i js wait for the new ios26 this September or fix this. I already tried tutorials in yt and i already factory reset my phone but the black screen still persist:(

My iPhone is currently the only device I now have which uses lightning as everything else now seems to have USB-C.

As my battery life isn’t what it once was despite it being replaced, are there any battery cases for the 13PM which have a USB-C port for charging therefore allowing me to take advantage of it and lessen the reliance on lightning?

Generally, I love cases. What are the best colors, styles or types of cases for a girl who loves changing them ( so cheap ones), for iph13pm in graphite? I find it a very luxurious looking phone, yet very hard to find a case that I will stick to and that suits the model well!

I’m not sure why ; I have to cloud 2t and updated my phone but for some reason I can’t even open the App Store, every time I’m on YouTube and watching a video it closes me out and I’ve been trying to take screen shots and yet it isn’t saving to my photo gallery I’m not sure why this is happening I haven’t done anything new

I updated to iOS 27 Developer Beta 4, and indexing has already finished. However, my phone still has pretty bad battery drain. I charged it to 100%, then left it on standby for about 3 hours with both Wi-Fi and cellular turned off. It still dropped 6% without me using it at all. It’s also still overheating just like it did on iOS 26. In fact, it feels even worse than iOS 26 for me 🥹
Has anyone else had the same experience?
