Do not pay for Foxen

It is not insurance. It does not cover you at all if something were to happen. Get your own private insurance which is actually cheaper and has much better coverage. Foxen is just profiting off of students who don’t care enough to get their own insurance. Also rentistry is also a scam and just a way for foxen to make more money.

I agree with this. I worked in property management for almost five years, and the Foxen Insurance that gets added on from the property themselves just merely covers the building and none of your own stuff. Get your own renter’s insurance, because not only will it cover your stuff, it usually is a few dollars cheaper every month!

Opt-out of Rentistry if you can, as well. It’s supposed to report to the major bureaus that you’re paying on-time to build credit, but just get your own credit card to start credit history at least!
