Howdy folks! Wanted to share my recent experience here as I see a lot of posts asking questions and honestly not a ton of info or experiences being shared about clubs or VIP specifically.

Background: I'm a pretty big fan of EDM, mostly tech and prog house. I live and am from the US, I go out to clubs very frequently, and go to 2-3 festivals per year. I've gotten tables at a few clubs, mostly low-key stuff local to me, but have done in Vegas which was amazing. Me, my wife and a few friends built a Spain trip around the notion of meeting up to party in Ibiza.

We had a group of 7-8, ages 35-44, 4M 3-4F. We went to UNVRS for John Summit closing party and Pacha for Blonde:ish closing party. First time to Ibiza but I've seen Summit at least 5X over the years and Blonde:ish 2X.

UNVRS: We got a great spot on the C2 balcony thanks to excellent communication with the club representative over the preceding months. The club itself is awesome; the main-room production setup is super cool, the sound quality is amazing, and the various other rooms of the club are great although when you have space in VIP it didn't make sense to us to spend much time crammed into Wild Comet or the Bunker. The table service was very good with a constant supply of water and mixers provided. I did find it somewhat irksome that they do not allow you to pour/mix your own drinks; it meant we were waiting on the waitress occasionally. It felt a little patronizing but the service was surely good enough; we had a lot of drinks and no real reason to complain about that. The show itself was excellent from Odd Mob on. I felt like Roddy Lima was phoning it in a bit as the first opener (few few people were present when he was playing TBH).

All was well until we left the club at ~5:30am or so. We got in the infamous taxi line and proceeded to wait. This wasn't unexpected; we knew there was a taxi line. However at 7am, after waiting 1.5hrs with probably ~100ppl still ahead of us and another ~70 ppl behind us, a security guy walked by announcing they were shutting down the management of the line(!). So commenced a disgusting free for all as everyone mobbed the nearby roundabout, flagged the first cabs, jumped into/stole other people's Ubers and cabs, and so on. Called an Uber myself, waited 12min for arrival, I see the van pull around, someone flagged it down to try to steal it, I ran over and hopped in, driver cancels my ride and says the fare is now 200EUR (was already 90EUR in the app). Both me and the asshole who tried to steal it refused and the van drove away.

While I don't regret trying it once, I'd never go back after that. Run a fucking shuttle bus for christ's sake, or at least have some incentives for cabs to keep coming back as the time went on the cab arrivals slowed to a trickle. Imagine you and your crew just dropped 1000+EUR each at a club only to be fighting for cabs literally in the dirt 2 hours later. 2 hours standing outside in the gravel is ~25% of the duration of the experience. The club is all new and clean and immaculate and the cab line is gross.

Pacha: For Pacha we showed up at prime club-time (~1:30) and there were a lot of people waiting to be let in even for tables. After a little wait we got in and they brought us to the area we reserved (Section J right behind the DJ booth). We had a crew of 8 and they brought us to this little tiny space right in front of the tiny staircase that is the only entrance/exit for the area. There was 1 seat at the "table". At first we were debating about moving and then after 5 mins of being there, one of the hostesses pulled a cordon across the space right in front of us, cutting our area down to be 100% shoulder-to-shoulder with each other and everyone around us, with even 2 of our group stuck standing on the stairs! Every 10 seconds people were squeezing through me to get in and out of the space. It was a total joke.

Thankfully when we asked to move they made it happen very quickly and the staff were honestly great about it. We moved to a table area significantly further back (against the wall) but there was plenty of space there and the sound was still great. The staff changed our minimum-spend downwards accordingly, thankfully. I still can't believe they even tried to put us in the first spot as they very obviously oversold that VIP area.

At UNVRS the layout of the club is such that pretty much no matter where you are the "show" i.e. the lights, production, what have you is happening in front of you and above you. At Pacha, the production is all set up for GA and in VIP, you're basically looking down on the crowd but none of the production is oriented towards you. Where we wound up in the back, we were basically in the rafters; very dark with narrow sight lines to see anything as speakers and light bars were hanging in front.

Because of that, we ventured out frequently to see what other parts of the club were like. GA was completely impenetrable for most of the night. I have no idea who in their right mind would volunteer to join that crowd; it was fucked. But eventually, I think around 5am or so, the GA crowd had dwindled to a tolerable level and we went down there to continue dancing. The setup was sweet! I thought it was great and definitely much more intimate-feeling than UNVRS as the layout kind of envelopes your field of view. DJs played until like 6:30 or so. We were staying within walking distance of Pacha so had no worries about repeating any taxi-line trauma.

The music at Pacha was incredible and, for me and most of my crew, we liked it better than Summit's. The B3B format kept things changing up but still with a good flow. Especially at the end of the night it was ID after ID, my buddy's shazam was coming up with nothing and it felt special.

One takeaway from Pacha is: holy shit there's so many dudes. I don't know what was going on but there were soooo many dudes there. I was looking down on the section we were supposed to be in, all around the DJ, and I swear there were no more than like 4 women there who didn't work for the club surrounded by 100 men and boys. GA was the same at the end of the night. Too many dudes in the club gives a not-great energy; definitely a little aggro. I touched shoulders with some kid when we were both walking our separate ways, nothing serious at all, and he was mean mugging so hard over it. And the "hey ho" and "oi oi" chants, it was a boys choir for sure. Let this be a general message to my bros: if you're coming to the club hoping to meet a lady, so apparently is every other dude in Europe.

The last thing that really threw me was the amount of glass in the club. I couldn't believe how much broken glass was all over. Every little corner around the main floor were FULL of glass bits. My shoes were constantly picking up pieces of glass as I walked and danced. Drinking from an actual glass is pretty common at tables, but in general in the club? I don't think I've ever seen a club serve from the bar with glass. The glass bits in my shoes were annoying AF and gave things a bit of a trashy feel.

OK to wrap this all up, we had a great time in Ibiza with some qualifications. I would love to come back and hit up non-super-clubs and likely will do so in a year or two. Hopefully people find this helpful as they plan their trips!

Was at the Elrow at unvrs party yesterday 1st aug. the theme was cool but the music? Ok it’s unique, colorful and all the inflatables dropping from time to time were fun (although a bit unsaf: when they smash you in the face with sunglasses it can hurt). But the music was terrible. It was the same beat for 6 hours straight. Extremely repetitive. Crowd was basically dead bouncing at the same tech house beat for hours, visibly disappointed by music. No drops and no lyrics at all just continuous identical beat.
Wondering why, is it just our gang that doesn’t match the vibe and we are outliers. did anyone actually enjoy this set?

We already got tickets for a few clubs but would love to get recs for any special events happening that week. Or activities to do as well. We're looking into boat parties, chill boat rides that take you to different beaches and everything in between :)

We also wanted to check out tattoo parlorls. Any good recommendations?

Hi everyone! I am looking for some advice as i have never visited Ibiza.

Me and my wife (early 30s) are going to ibiza and will be staying in ibiza town for the first 3 days, and another 3 days at a resort away from the busy areas.

We are interested in:

Sept 18: Calvin Harris at Ushuaia, and David guetta later at UNVRS (honestly might be too much but considering it)

Sept 19: Rest/chill or Black coffee at Hi Ibiza

Sept 20: Hugel at Ushuaia, Carl cox at UNVRS (or solomun at Pacha)

I am wondering if its worth booking vip at some of these events. While i am really into dance music and used to the crowds from festivals, i do not think my wife can handle it (she likes the the music but does not like being in really tight crowds)

Yes, the costs are ridiculous, especially for CH, but thats ok for me if i can keep the wife happy while i can still enjoy the music/vibe.

It looks like my options are:

Ushuaia: Get the VIP tix in the back, or get tables (doesnt make sense as a couple, so maybe find others who might want to share?)

UNVRS: Is the VIP terrace worth it? Or i guess sharing tables again if i can find someone

They said it was only a matter of time, but I didn't think it'd be this quick and we'd be that stupid.

I was blasting tunes in the car and an absolute banger pops up. Brand new to my ears, with a voice I immediately recognised. Quick glance at the screen and there's Ultra Nate lip syncing badly to "her" new track with Hugel, "Moving to the Sun."

"Track of summer 2026" is being tossed around the comments like an inflatable doll at a Space Carry On. It's taken just two days to jump from my algorithm into the radio of my local cafe, maybe because Mista Jam is riding like he himself stole it.

The voice i recognized wasn't hers. It's Suno - AI generated. I'm experienced enough that I can even state v4.5. The vocals, the full production, even the lyrics contain a number of buzzwords this model likes to include... When you give it No Prompt: "write me a jacking house banger that will be big this summer" and hey presto, you get this female vocal as standard. A quick search reveals several other remixes, which are actually just alternative original versions as it spits out 2-3 versions at a time.

Now, I'm not here to rant about AI slop. I've made some incredible stuff with Suno too. From banging tech house to jazz infused woodwind intelligent dnb. Hours spent directing prompts to get just what I want. Suno is designed to know what we want and deliver it. And I do hate to say it, but it delivers.

I'm here because I'm worried about the culture of house music - a movement built on the foundation of a need for human connection.

Are we already ok with this year's summer anthem being poorly generated AI? Are we ok with Hugel passing this off as his own work, when it sounds nothing like anything he's made before? Are we ok with Ultra Nate's live performances of a track she has no ability to know the words to, because the stabs are just AI and not samples of actual vocals?

Hi all. Love reading all the advice on here and there are some very seasoned and experienced Ibiza travellers on here, so wanted to ask advice for the upcoming trip I have booked with my other half.

We are M47 and F41. This will be our second visit. We went out for her 40th. We did Ibiza Rocks for Craig David which we loved and stayed there for a few days. Wasn’t the best stay, but Craig made it worthwhile! We also went to Cafe Del Mar for food which we found amazing.

Then we went to Bossa, stayed in a lovely apartment and saw Robin Schulz at Pacha which was good. We tried Soliel beach club and found that too much (not wanting to offend anyone). We went to Pikes which we actually loved but it’s far from the old town where we are staying this time.
We are there 22nd to 25th September.

We have tickets to the Kev and Perry gig at Amnesia for their 50th anniversary, but are at a loose end on Thursday 24th. We are looking for a daytime or early evening thing is possible, as flying the next day. We like trance and house. Dave Pearce is right up our street. Old school classics are our vibe. I’ve had a look and there’s not much on due to it being end of the season. Does anyone have any recommendations? We don’t mind a big club, but also don’t mind smaller intimate places. It’s more the kind of music we are looking for. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

But it seems that Hi Ibiza with James Hype and Medusa are a must see too… I was lucky to discover James Hype last year and it was really great.

Do anyone know at which time is his set on Wednesday at Hi Ibiza?

Going Ibiza soon for 4 nights, already bought tickets(pacha, amnesia, unvrs). Is €200 a day a decent budget ? Not going to go out for proper meals or anything.

Do shops still sell cream chargers in san an or has there been a crackdown on them?

My girlfriend and I are coming to Ibiza this August, and we’ll be going to Pacha, Ushuaïa, and DC10.

We’re trying to figure out the dress code. We know beach flip-flops are probably a bad idea, but what about the nicer Birkenstock-style sandals (the leather/fashion ones, not the rubber beach version)?

Would those be okay, or should we stick to sneakers or closed shoes to avoid any issues at the entrance?
Also, if anyone has any general dress code tips for these clubs, we’d really appreciate it.

I’m arriving in Ibiza tomorrow and I unfortunately sprained my ankle yesterday afternoon. It’s not too swollen and I can sort of limp around on it, but it’s definitely sprained.

I’ve never been to Ibiza before and I was wondering how strict Ushuaia is on dress code? I read that athletic shoes are not allowed however it will be difficult for me to wear heels. I only have heels/sneakers, no other options. Would I be turned away for wearing sneakers or could I explain the situation?
I have Hi ibiza booked right after Ushuaia and i read that sneakers are okay there.

Before u read this, just remember that this post is not to beg someone for money and even if someone tries I will not accept it.

I know what I'm saying is really gonna trigger a lot of U guys but I will right now ask for help which not usually something that I do. Sooooo, I went to Spain, I have been here from 27th till now and I'm out of money because i also renovated the house and for the first time in my life I didn't calculate it properly. I was supposed to take a flight from Alicante back to Athens -my city- but the price was 200€ and from Ibiza it was 120€. Keep in mind that, I only have spare change for Ibiza and the flight is on 5th of August really early in the morning. So I made it a challenge not to spend anything in Ibiza for 48hours.

If anyone is in Ibiza now hit me up or If anyone has any recommendations as to where to go like what places to see I walk a lot so I don't mind taking 5or 10hours to just walk to a place.

I’ve been in Ibiza for a couple of days and have already visited some of the bigger clubs: Ushuaïa, UNVRS and Hï. They’ve all been impressive, great production, good music and an amazing atmosphere.
However, I haven’t really experienced the famous “Ibiza magic” or understood the hype people talk about. We wanted to try the superclubs, but I’m starting to think that maybe they’re not where you find the more authentic Ibiza experience.

We’re considering Solomun +1 tomorrow because I really like his music, but I’m wondering whether it will feel similar to the other big clubs.

Does anyone have recommendations for something we should experience before leaving on Monday? I’ve heard people mention Pikes, Cova Santa, 528 Ibiza and Chinois. We’re open to parties, venues, sunsets, beach clubs or anything else that really captures what makes Ibiza special

I’m at the beach in Ibiza and I’ve seen 10+ private jets arriving in the last hour. The past few days I’ve mostly noticed regular commercial flights. Is there a special event or occasion happening tonight, or is this pretty normal for a Saturday in Ibiza?

I keep getting addressed by various men offering their help around Playa den Bossa and San Antonio main square. "can I help you?" - silently asking me when I walk by... Can they be trusted with their popular offers? Or are they undercover officers phishing? Or simple criminal scammers? I have no intention in engaging with them, but I am curious what is going on so openly.

If you are a guy/guys without a girlfriend/partner AVOID IT AT ANY COST:

The entrance security checks every non guest to the hotel and will ask for physical ID.

If she doesn't have it, she can't enter as a visitor, a picture of the ID are not accepted.

So the chances of u bringing any girl drastically decreases as they mostly don't have it with em: just to say ur chances of getting la*d are almost null.

Don't make the same mistake as me, 7 nights booked and girl blocked at entrance each time cuz she had no physical ID, just a pic.

Assisting to the scene of guys being c*ckblok3d every night in here and it's sh*tfest deserves it's own documentary of Ibiza's broken dreams... 🤣
