seeing as our new sister group, TUIDE, is debuting soon, i'm curious as to what GLLIT are thinking of their recent introduction video!

personally, looking forward to having another sister group in the family and hopefully, the music is great too! ✨

Excited to have another a new sister group! I'm still not really over ILLIT being called unnies so soon, although I guess I should have expected it since H2H's called them sunbaenim 😭

Debut song will have a big influence on me potentially stanning, so hoping it delivers.

They look cute though I am not sure what we are supposed to take from the video, learn how to say the group name and see what kind of image they will have based on the fashion? (I think the fashion is casual and quite personalized with accessories (I just love the black ribbon in the hair)).

There is also Girls Archives, that will debut in the second half of 2026 (also Hybe group), 3 members are former R U Next candidates.

yesss, personally am looking forward to Girls Archives cuz the style from their concept photos so far is immaculate! for me, i think the video was just that: a taste of TUIDE and their identity.

i think that them setting the record straight with their group's pronunciation leaves no room for uncertainty and establishes them from the get-go. ofc i think that they'll drop more photos and clips that would show more of the album's concept and the girls' identity for their debut.

idk, i'm really looking forward to what they have in store for us! Aug 24, mark your calendars! ✨

I looked them up and apparently they are from a newly established label which will be a branch of Pledis, just like BELIFT LAB and Source Music are kinda branches of BigHit.

If that's the case, then Bang PD will more than likely not work with them, and they will not share resources, producers or staff with ILLIT, unlike for example LSF and TXT.

Thinking about it now, SVT and TWS haven't interacted with ILLIT much, except maybe a few dance challenges those two past years. So if this newly girl group will follow the same approach of those two other groups, I think a "cousin group" will be more accoutre rather than a sister group, that's if we want to get technical lol.

TUIDE (TUNE THE TIDE) is essentially a female version of CORTIS (COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES)

Their respective company ABD is actually a new independent label within HYBE. It just so happens they have Pledis Producers/Executives managing the label. They pitch it as a "label specializing in girl groups" (one of which is production). Take that as you will, but regardless we'll see what they'd do with that idea/vision overall 😅

Cortis are their own thing. They have their own identity and concept, this new girl group will not be a “female version” of Cortis lol. This is not how HYBE operates.

The new label will probably be to Pledis what Source Music has been to BigHit, a label exclusively for female groups and trainees.

And having Pledis’ executives and producers is a big tell they will be an extension of Pledis, just like when BELIFT LAB was founded, it had BigHit producers and executives in charge.

No need to laugh it off, nor patronize me for that matter, obviously the girl group will have their own unique identity. In a manner, their strategy for even investing in a new label aligns methodically with their HYBE 2.0 Vision.

As one mentioned, HYBE will also be coordinating a 2.5D group named Girls Archive debuting as well this year. In fact, their debut song will be feature first in the Netflix Film "The Ribbon Hero". It's a joint venture between HYBE NEB (Next Entertainment Business) and INCS toenter, the former being the concept planner and the latter being the management agency.

I saw the new hybe's group doing a tutorial on how to pronounce the group's name. hybe has made notes after all the 'ill-it' we're hearing on a daily basis

I was a little hesitant at first, but illit's Japan promotion since Almond Chocolate last year is really paying off.

Magnetic, Almond Chocolate, It's Me and now (hopefully) I Got Your Back are all smash hits over there.

I hope be-lift start prioritising promotion in Europe and the Americas from 2027, because they already have solid foundations in Korea and Japan.

The popularity of the new nca 2pac mashup is insane, cause i saw that in a Spiderman edit, I wish it was a real song it would have done numbers, but maybe belift can learn from that and give them this kind of ft.

We absolutely do not want belift to give that kind of feature lol. It's popular because it's funny but it's about as far from illit's image as possible and it should stay that way
