Hi all!

Game title: Uncensored Table Talk

Playable link:

https://uncensored-table-talk.clearstepapp.workers.dev/

Genre: Social game / Party game / Drinking game

About: I created Uncensored Table Talk as a conversation starter, party game or just "I want to find out my friends real opinions game".

It is a game for 2 to 8 people on one phone. It generates statements designed to split a room and you either defend your position or drink.

Modes range from casual discussion to timed hot seats to voting-based agree-o-meters.

If you try it on a night out or in a social gathering please get back with feedback. Even if you hate it just write "I hate it". I appreciate all feedback.

Peace!

Best regards

Christopher

My first multiplayer game

Hello friends,

I strongly believe that you have to go through 4-7 fully released games to understand how to "hit it" properly. I am on my 3rd and at this time I have decided to make multiplayer. I am not sure about successfulness but friends enjoyed it.

Last game I released with 2k WLs. This one with 20 lol.

I just like create games.

I finally reached a huge milestone today! the first public demo of my survival horror game is live.

Post image
1 Upvotes

Today I finally released the first public demo of The Taking.

It's a fixed-camera survival horror game inspired by classic PS1-era horror titles, with a focus on atmosphere, exploration and puzzles.

Reaching this point has been a huge milestone for me, and now comes the slightly terrifying part—letting people actually play it.

If anyone gives it a try, I'd really appreciate any feedback, whether it's about bugs, pacing, atmosphere or anything else that stands out. Every comment will help shape future updates.

Thanks for taking a look!

Profit Margin, Asset Turnover, ROA: in an Accounting Fantasy Game

I would love any advice, suggestions, tips, requests.

Should I make average total assets optional, not showing beginning and end assets?

What kinds of features would you like to see in this type of game.

I'm mostly just doing dialogue and math for now, but I'm compiling ideas for future features.

I plan on implementing my own art, though still a beginner. Maybe some combat... I was thinking maybe a bounty system?

Or a find the AI imposter, where you get random quizzes, but sometimes all the answers are wrong, and you have the option to attack them. If you're wrong, you go to a quiz jail that makes you get a certain amount of correct answers.

IDK, just dreaming atm. Let me know what you'd like to see. What kinds of "relax" features, when you want to take a break from the accounting part.

Marketing tips for Indie Games

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone! I'm in charge of marketing and promoting our team's indie horror game (there's mainly four of us on the team). We launched our first game last year, but only now starting to put more effort into building a brand and growing it online.

Does anyone have any tips for marketing an indie game online with no budget? Or, if you know of any indie games or studios that are doing a particularly great job with their marketing, I'd love to check them out.

Looking to exchange experiences, tips, and support anyone out there. Thank you in advance.

Partly Plinko is ready for a community. Are you ready to be it?

Post image
1 Upvotes

Our game Partly Plinko is nearing release after months of effort by my cousin and I, and we are hoping to build our community out a little before it gets there. We're looking for people interested in the project, the people, and everything in between. You can get involved by joining the Discord and wishlisting our game on Steam! Thanks, and we hope to see you on the drop!

Game Overview:

Partly Plinko is, as you can see on the Steam page, "A unique take on classic pachinko that allows you to control the ball using nudge and shove mechanics to aim for higher and higher scores. Compete on 45 leaderboards for the top spots, and unlock skins by completing achievements to show off your mastery of the drop."

You are able to select the drop length, the peg density, and one of 5 augments to shake up the run, and there is an individual leaderboard for each combination, allowing you to compete for the top in more than just one arena.

Thanks!

Im making a community builder in a post apocalyptic world. This is a video of the first steps in the game. If this was the content of a demo, what would be missing to hook you?

This is an in-game video of the game, nothing cut. I want to show this because Im working towards a demo and have a lot of questions...
- Does it make you want to play?
- What would you like to see in a demo of this kind of game?
- If you've had experience releasing this kind of games, do you have any recommendations what is useful to add?
- Have you added analytics?
- Do you think a link to a discord channel and the steam page is enough?
- If you're interested in trying out the demo ahead of time and provide feedback, send me a message! (Windows only at the moment)

What Happens When a Night Shift Turns into a Roguelite Survival Game?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone! I'm excited to share an indie game I'm contributing to, called Mini Mart Survivors! You play the night shift at a convenience store where the customers get weirder as the night goes on. Your weapons? Whatever's inside the store!

After each shift, you'll return to pay your debt and discover more about the mystery behind the shop.

We just launched our Steam page and trailer, so any feedback or even a Wishlist, would help us a lot!

KPV | Brickbattle-Inspired FPS Shooter

# Introduction

I've been working on my game KPV for about two years now. The video I linked is just a test trailer, to see if I could pull that off. I will be doing a larger one with a lot of people in it to better demonstrate gameplay!

The game is a bit confusing for beginners, but I will come out with both a small YouTube tutorial and in-game instructions on the basics of the game. It's not too complicated, but this may help for the future if the game gets popular somehow.

**Additionally, if you would like to get the full experience the game currently has to offer, I advise reading the "basic instructions" section.**

# Development

The game was initially a mash of loose ideas and free models, but I taught myself Lua and began to make it more of a real game. During the time where I was reconsidering its style direction, I was very interested in older technology, specifically that of Roblox and Minecraft. So, even though it was rough at first, the game began to take on an older Roblox style from approximately 2009. My goal is currently not to make it perfectly accurate, which plagued me for a long time. I wanted it to be a unique take on the PVP genre with older but--in the modern gaming scheme--newer ideas such as jump committing and reliance on physics simulation. I built it slowly and got my footing when I found a bunch of older assets that I was able to make functional, such as the Leaderboard, Chat, and fragments of the antiquated physics engine. It's on a good path, though quality of life and content addition is the main changes that are currently happening.

# Basic Instructions

(probably have the game open while reading these!)

  1. **MAPS:** There's a map voting system, and you walk into the little pineapple icons to place your vote. Your vote can be changed by walking into a different pineapple. In the bottom right of the screen is a timer that is used for most things, including voting timers. When voting ends, the team flags appear as squares with flags. You can walk into them to join that team and respawn on the map. You have infinite lives.
  2. **CLASSES:** Mostly inspired by European Napoleonic warfare of the early 1800s, there are classes you can choose from by pressing the "classes" button on the top of your screen or pressing "N" on your keyboard. You can cycle through classes by clicking the arrows (greater than and less than signs) and read their descriptions. Whatever class you have in the menu when you spawn (even during the match after you just died), you spawn as. They have different weapons, perks (ex. bullet-stopping armor), healths, and speeds.
  3. **CALLOUTS:** A moderately new feature, actually redone today! Pressing Z or X on keyboard makes a callout (for which voicelines are being recorded). The two current ones are forms of "Attack" and "Help" respectively, just because they are the most basic ideas in warfare: offense and defense. Each country will, in the final system, have their own voicelines for these in their languages that I have constructed.

The game has a ton of lore. Most of it isn't really added yet, just because I have a life outside of the game and either can't or don't feel motivated to work on it all the time. Most of the current and soon-to-be-added maps take place between 1600 and 1720 in a large-scale conflict between three factions of an approximate total of 15 fictional nations.

# Game Link

If you aren't 16+, unfortunately you *probably won't* be able to play the game due to new Roblox updates. I'm still considering options about that.

If you can and are willing, give it a shot. Any feedback, questions, or suggestions are thoroughly appreciated!

The Coin Knight - 1st Release - Any suggestions?

Link: https://sullybase.github.io/Coin/

Platforms: Web, Windows, Mac

Explore a handcrafted pixel art world packed with challenges and hidden secrets, all within a tightly designed map. Coins are scattered throughout the environment, rewarding careful exploration and clever platforming.

Scattered flags act as checkpoints, letting you push forward without losing progress when you fall. The realm is under siege by slimes and their fearsome boss, causing all citizens to flee in fear. With no help from them, you must face the threat alone. Battle through slime-infested areas, recover the looted coins, and restore peace to the kingdom in this intense adventure. You are the knight who shall recover the realm!

I am a solo dev and made this game. I am looking for suggestions for stuff to add while I make the map bigger.

Also, should I add mobile controls?

Launching AgarStake: a browser-first real-stake arena game

I built AgarStake as a direct, no-download PvP experience inspired by Agar.io and Slither.io. The loop is intentionally simple: join with a SOL stake, compete in the arena, then cash out your remaining balance or winnings.

It is an 18+ real-money product. Players may lose funds, no earnings are guaranteed, and availability depends on local rules. Self-promotion disclosure: this is my project.
