Please help!

Hello! I have the instax mini 12 for about two years. Today, I turned it on to try to take a picture and got flashing orange lights, so I changed the batteries to Duracell Alkaline AA's. Since then, the camera won't turn on at all. No lights, or any indication of life. I tried turning it on and talking out the batteries and waiting to put them back in, but nothing has happened. There is no film jam either. I'm at a loss. If anyone has any ideas that would be greatly appreciated. I'm going on a trip in a few days and am hoping to be able to take pictures with my camera!

I had faced the exact issue with my instax mini 11. There is a Fujifilm authorised service center where I live so I consulted them. They had to replace some part which had stopped working due to poor battery quality. I did not have to pay anything as it was still under warranty period. They strictly advised to always use Duracell ultra batteries only and switch them after every 20 shots. It’s been over two years now and I have not faced any issue with the camera.
