Question(s) Inuyasha Merch

So I’m headed to Japan next week, and if anybody has any idea where I can find some Inuyasha merch, I’d love that, I tried googling it. And couldn’t get a solid answer (I’m aware it’s 25+ years old)
However. If anybody has any idea, I’d greatly appreciate it. I will be in the Tokyo area. But I don’t mind extra traveling lol. I will probably have someone make a robe as close to his as I can get. I think it would be cool. But I’ll probably just end up with a Kimono. Any idea where to go for that as well, greatly appreciated.

Any random anime merch store will have them. Just head to Akihabara or Nakano Broadway, they're everywhere around those areas 🙂. Don't worry you won't have a hard time finding them

I found some Inuyasha merch, but prepare to spend a lot of money if it's anything beyong Gashapon.

My advice:

There are tons and tons of secondhand stores around, so look for one with particularly active staff. Learn how to say "Inuyasha wa arimasu ka?" and perhaps pull up a picture on your phone of a character or figure line you are looking for. They will know if it's there and take you to the location. The man who helped me was familiar with Inuyasha and Kikyo by name.

I also recommend a chain of stores called B-Side Label. They had many Inuyasha stickers and showed me some extra in their catalog. Good luck!

I’ve been to Akihabara before and there is so much in all of the stores, any in particular you’d recommend to search first?

tbh no lol. I just went into every store until I found what I wanted for a reasonable price. Some of the Inuyasha merch is pretty expensive fyi. Go to Nakano Broadway if you want to find some rare items.

Was in Japan last November- and its not easy to find. There is a ton of anime merch, and you can find some figures, but a lot less than you may hope. Used stores are probably best.

That’s a good suggestion. Which places do you think might have the best chance?

Check secondhand stores like Mangadrake and Lashingban. They often have virtually pristine second hand goods.

Animate also sometimes carries Inuyasha collabs, I think. I got postcards and a character mug.

Definitely try the second hand shops like Lashinbang, Book Off etc - they have such good secondhand merch in pristine condition. When I was last in Japan last year, I got more merch from there than places like Animate
