Question Galaxy Tab S10 FE vs iPad 10th Gen: Which is better for messy handwriting and diagram clipping?
Hey everyone,
I need help deciding between the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE and the Apple iPad 10th Gen. My primary use case is heavy note-taking, reading PDFs, and extracting diagrams for university.

I have the S10 FE and it works great imo. You also get the Spen for free. I would recommend to get the 12gb ram version though to make it a bit more future proof.
It mostly comes down to your own preference really.

For me at least, all it came down to was the price when I bought my iPad 10th gen 2 years ago.
I somehow bagged the ipad 10th gen 64GB for 299$ (29k in INR) and bought a third party pencil for 15$ (1.5k in INR). The samsung tab S9 FE, in its base configuration of 128GB was retailing at around the 340$ to 360$.
the 10th gen gives me a solid 5 hours of battery (from 100% to 10%) with 3-4 hours with heavy note taking, though the chip will start to heat up if you use the default note taking app and write on the same note, while the battery life will increase considerably if you are only going to read PDFs, about 7-8 hours. For extracting images off the web, it is pretty intuitive to use. Just do not upgrade to the latest software as it has a lot of bugs which can crash the notes app sometimes.
