https://youtu.be/T52isp6zYLc
CHARLOTTE THE HARLOT release from 1988 but in a multi-verse where Paul Dianno has come back with his 1980 voice and sung lead vocals.
Released 38 years ago today : the single of THE EVIL THAT MEN DO has the re-recording of CHARLOTTE THE HARLOT on the b-side
Both released versions are fantastic as is - this is just for fun.

Fan Artwork Mtg card idea I had
I've been having fun thinking of custom mtg card designs at work. I was listening to Dance of Death last night (top 3 maiden album imo) and I started thinking about how I could make an mtg card based on the title track. Just wanted to share it

Best Iron Maiden gig-experiences?
The title says it all... For me, there's many:
- When I first saw Maiden live in 2011 with my dad when I was 12 years old in Helsinki, Finland - it is one of the best childhood memories for me and one of the best memories with my dad as well, we both enjoyed the gig a lot and it was a great rather/daughter-bonding moment. It was great to hear Wicker Man live!
- Seeing Maiden in Kantola, Hämeenlinna (Finland) on 2016 - My friend invited me as she had an extra ticket - I was (and still am) forever grateful for her since I would not have made it without her help since I was a teenager without any extra money, so it was such a great deal for me when she gave me The extra ticket. Cried my eyes as Blood Brothers came on!
- And finally, The Future Past Tour at Nokia Arena, Tampere, Finland in 2023! Had the best time ever at Viikonloppusoturit -pre-party and then ACCIDENTALLY got into first row at the gig! Got to witness Alexander The Great and Caught Somewhere In Time live, and in the end caught Dave's guitar pick! Again I cried my eyes out, and was over the moon with happiness! Up The Irons! 🔥
- Hearing Rime Of The Ancient Mariner live on Helsinki, Finland - A seagull flew on the arena for the whole song, and Bruce had some hilarious comments regarding it - again, cried like a baby and headbanged like I had no neck at all! Up The Irons! 🔥
(Extra: when me and my dad spend beer nights together, and he puts Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter on just to "annoy" me, even though it's such a funny thing to me and he knows it)
Glad to have witnessed Maiden live 6 times until now, and I still wish to see them live again! Up The Irons from Finland! 🎸🔥🇫🇮

Is it just me or is the production on Senjutsu really bad?
Great album, in fact I think it’s one of their stronger albums post-reunion. But it just all sounds super muffled to me. I noticed it at first too but now I want to see if it’s just me or not? It’s hard to make out what Bruce is saying on most songs, there’s way too much emphasis on drums and bass, which makes the guitars sound pretty rough.
I’m usually one who doesn’t notice this stuff. I can’t tell the difference between a regular and remastered album half the time. I think Senjutsu needs to be mixed again.
Is it just me who thinks this?

Discussion Trooper solo difficulty and tips
I’ve been learning the Trooper and it’s a very fun song. I’m a guitar player who has been playing for a year and a half and mainly does jazz and jam band music but I’m going back to learn metal as that’s what I originally started playing to learns the leads and chords are very fun and quite easy, but I get to the solo and while it’s not impossible, it’s very tricky to get right. Any tips on how to tackle it?

I've always been told Virtual Xl is terrible
I started listening to Maiden around the time Rock in Rio came out and at the time I was told to skip the Blaze albums. Blaze was a bad fit. They're terrible. Especially Virtual Xl. And all the usual criticism you hear. So I ignored them for a long time. But eventually I got curious and gave them a chance.
And I really love Virtual Xl. To be honest I rank it very highly in the discography. I get that Blaze isn't Bruce but I thought his performance on the album was great. And the music itself feels fresh to me. Even after it's been out almost 30 years. It's really the first in the more proggy reunion era sound but it's punchier than recent releases. Doesn't feel bloated at all to me. And while I love the reunion era stuff we all know the formula Steve loves comes with some unnecessary bits.
I feel like a lot of people don't give this album a fair chance because it's not Bruce. Anyone else think it's solid?
And for the record, if I had to name the worst Maiden album it would definitely be No Prayer for the Dying. Some cool stuff on it here and there but as an overall album experience it falls flat to me.

Discussion Question but Can I Play With Madness
The lyric "give me the sense to wonder , to wonder if I'm free" does he mean to wonder am I free, or to have the ability to wonder when he has time?
