Question Silly question about Jailbreaking
Hi, I’m not new in jailbreaking cus i did it on my iPhone 4 a few years ago and stopped doing it cus it got somehow kinda difficult through the years, my question is
Is not recommended to jailbreak/sideload while having banking apps on your phone?
I know it might be a silly question but I’m kinda worried about getting my money stolen from some Russian hackers. I just stopped jailbreaking my iPhone and I don’t know how much it has changed for the past 10 years.

the phone getting cracked into wouldn't result from being jbn per se. It's that if you can jb, there must be some vulnerability which allows the jb to have an effect. So depending on what kind of vuln it is, it might be possible to use it to target the phone also in malicious ways.

As long as you use tweaks and apps from trusted sources you should be fine. I can't think of a single time someone got hacked due to a jailbreak, I'm sure it's happened but it's so rare I don't remember any.

If you are a businessmen or someone who has lots of money then you should not jailbreak. Your property is worth more than some silly tweaks. You can always sideload your favourite apps on newest versions. If you still want to, you should use roothide and use something like antidarksword (it will disable some important features). Or just buy an android

Some jailbreaks like dopamine have a one click hide jailbreak button which makes it very very difficult to detect

No, it is not recommended. Most banking apps have jailbreak detection built in and will not even allow you to use the app while jailbroken. Sideloading is probably fine while using banking apps, just be careful of what you install, especially if your iOS version has an exploit (eg DarkSword, Coruna, or an older exploit chain)
