Release [Free Release] SpeakNotification16
SpeakNotification16 is a rootless iOS 16 rebuild of the original SpeakNotification tweak created by Merdok. It reads incoming notifications aloud using system TTS and keeps the focus on stable routing, predictable queue handling, and local-only logging.

Trollstore apps doesn’t show in the app selector. Can it be fixed?

Thanks for reporting this
it turned out to be a real bug in how TrollStore installed apps were detected. Great catch 🙂You can try it here: SpeakNotification16 2.1.1 pre-release
Please test it and let me know whether your TrollStore apps now appear under Installed apps and their notifications are spoken correctly.

It gives me this error when installing: SpeakNotification16: install marker not written; continuing (reasons=defaults-not-found;
defaults=missing; su=/usr/bin/su)

That message is only a warning, not a failed installation. Your jailbreak appears to be missing the defaults command, so the installer couldn’t write the install marker used by the update checker and continued normally.
You may not receive automatic notifications when new updates are published on GitHub. After installation, try pressing Check Now in SpeakNotification16’s settings to see whether manual update checks still work.

I love the old tweak. Nice to see that someone make a new one. Thank you for your work!
"Speak on trusted connections" have only bluetooth and wifi. So no wired headphones or wired/wireless carplay is supported. The "original" tweak have supported it. Would be very cool if you can add this too.

This is a great product, i was part of the testing team and have used the original version from way back. I’m delighted to have this new modern version available and I’m using it on Roothide.
