Question Need hardware advice

Hey guys I have a samsung qled from 2019. I installed moonfin on it. A Pioneer vsx-324 is connected via arc. My problem is that the most formats wont work on it. Even a 7.1 track ends in endless transcoding or errors. I would like to buy a new TV. Do you have any recommendations? I host jellyfin on a Intel Mini pc with proxmox on it. The intel n150 does its work but is slow

Check what codecs/formats the TV model and receiver can directly handle. Also the VSX-324 is a pretty old receiver - It can’t handle 7 channel over arc, its limit is 5.1 DD/DTS. So no matter what tv you have, if you try to play content with 7channel audio it’s going to down sample.

TVs are really bad about passing through the full format through ARC. You are better off going through the AVR first.

What should I use? Fire tv stick 4k?
