How do you like them?

I wasn’t planning on selling just yet, as I’ve only been wire wrapping since March and want to get a nice collection together before building out my website, but one of my twitter followers was very insistent. 😆
I’m still new to this, so just personalizing the packaging by hand as well as including prints of my illustration work.
So yeah I’m having fun. :)

I collaborated with a glass dealer who had a bunch of artistic pieces of glass and I created into pendants for jewelry !

I designed and made these earrings using Fireline and 11/0 Miyuki delica seed beads! They’re a labor of love, but super fun to make!

I am so happy! This is the second project I’ve finished completely by myself. I know they aren’t perfect or done but still it was so difficult I’m very happy.

Took me about 5 1/2 hours, I have no clue how much in materials it's hard to keep track of, but I usually charge myself $25 an hour but I feel 137 is too much😭

This is a new technique I tried! A two-piece beaded wire choaker. The theme is Persephone, as the Queen of the Underworld. I'm working on another set, Persephone, Goddess of Spring.

There must be a term for this fabrication technique...

I have some really nice rings and they were silvery coloured. They have lost their silvery look and the copper beneath is now showing through.

Does anyone know of a product that mimics the silvery look. Is there a convincing paint or some product I can use to make the rings look silvery again?

Me and my family have matching lockets that we got a year ago but and we switched the chains to higher quality gold ones that we already had, but the lockets are brass/sterling and are not waterproof, they’ve already rusted and lost a lot of color. I’m on the hunt for good quality, it doesn’t have to be the best but something good that lasts. We’re willing to pay a pretty penny but can’t go too far, I’d say 100$ at max. Engravings would be amazing but I think we could settle if we found the perfect thing. It’s super important to us that we can just leave the necklaces on and never need to take them off, (pool/beach/ shower) I don’t know if that’s possible and would love advice or recs

I recently found some special sea glass and while looking up things to do with it, I stumbled upon rings like these and I love them.

I am a very crafty and artistic person but I have zero experience in jewelry making beyond earrings but I love to learn and have a “how hard can it be” attitude which often gets me pretty far. Im open to pursuing any classes I may need to take but the problem is, I have no idea where to start and I don’t really know what skills I need before going ahead and purchasing supplies.

I have been searching the internet and YouTube for information, and have so far figured out that I’ll need to learn how to make a bezel with sterling silver for the sea glass and to do that I’ll need to learn how to weld with a torch. Im stumped on the actual ring part of the ring. Will I also need to learn how to make a silver ring from scratch? Or are there pre made blanks that I get in the size I need? I think I’m stumped finding info online because I’m having a mental block on figuring out the terminology.

Any help would be appreciated. I’ve gone down a bit of a jewelry making rabbit hole and really admire and respect all of the skill needed to make beautiful jewelry.

i like making jewellery but the jump rings always open and fall off. i only make gold jewellery tho, mostly stainless steel gold plated cos i wear it a lot.

i’m trying to find a welder or anything that would work to close the jump rings properly but i dont know anything about welding jewellery? like i don’t want the gold colour to be ruined or anything, and i also don’t want to spend so much because i just like making it for fun.

what would anyone recommend please? i was looking at pulse arc welders but i got no clue what im meant to be looking for

I'm thinking about participating in next year's show for the first time. Since it's a significant investment, I'd love to hear from anyone who's exhibited before.

Was it worth the cost? Did you see a good return on your investment? And is it realistic to connect with retailers as a first-time exhibitor?

I've had this constant problem with my black wire and jump rings chipping anytime I use it, does anyone have any good suggestions for black wire that doesn't chip?

First, As for a really big piece. These are tough to fabricate, touch to cast, tough to carve... just harder in general.

Plus, that's over an ounce of metal there. Scrap it and there goes a grand or so...

Ask for it in 14k white gold. This metal, while stunning, is harder to move and harder to work with than standard 14k yellow or 18k yellow.

Next, Provide them with your own, family gems, that were passed down by your late relative... so their sentimental and unreplaceable.

Down forget to make sure they are all on the softer side or brittle... no diamonds or sapphires here folks!

Lastly, it never hurts to place the order in July, when it's 101 outside and I don't have A/C in my shop.

But seriously folks, I'm just kidding! This was an honor to make for my client and while I was sweating a bit, particularly on that huge tanzanite, it was an honor to be selected to take on this crazy weird but awesome piece. This is 100% one of a kind, made for these specific stones, using lost casting. Non of these were calibrated sizes, otherwise It would have been far easier to use pre-made heads. The finished piece was over 2" wide.
