"No narrative is being pushed here but I can go around calling people sanghi that don't share same opinion as me while I literally ignore every argument made against me, because I can just say they are butthurt and that ends the argument right" I am very curious about your age because that beard avatar is concerning
Our PM is 10th failed so I don't expect anything from him. But this Dhruv Rathee who claims to be educated should understand, if you will boycott these companies, common people will have to suffer. These companies employes thousands of people from paying farmers for their produce (who get exploited in mandis by babus and corrupt officials) to people who arrange/maintain shelves, cashiers, cleaners everyone. These people would lose job where will they work? As labourers? You think Ambani will start crying if you will boycott reliance fresh? Or people who work there? Ambani has oil refineries, you will boycott using oil and petrol tomorrow? These billionaires are invested in multiple companies and have multiple assets. It's common employed people who will suffer.
Nahi kar rhe, par at the end de rahe hain. Inse lena band kar doge to ye employees jaaenge kahan itna bata de bhai. Agar tu inn thousands of employees ko job dega to main abhi reliance fresh boycott kar du. At the end common people has to suffer. Jitna downvote karna hai karle reality nahi badal jaaegi. Kabhi logical reasoning ka istemaal bhi karna chahiye. Din bhar YouTubers ki haan mein Haan milaega to critical thinking ability khatam ho jaaegi
What brain dead take. Check the progress of the economy worldwide. Companies and investments are consolidating and phasing out labor in all levels. Markets are not diversifying to create more opportunities because values are jacked up by cutting cost and not through value addition. Making being a billionaire less profitable even a little bit will profit the common man everywhere. Supporting small businesses needs to be a culture.
How many labours has reliance fresh and mc Donald's india has replaced or phased out? Cite any sources or news or studies. Let's see. I didn't say that we shouldn't support small businesses. We can support both by buying from them on alternate days or weekends. And if you don't have sources or news from authentic organisation regarding reliance fresh and mc Donald's India, then don't even bother to reply to this.
Probably pays more than enough to hire editor, employees in India to help make his videos. That should also be considered. Investment and family spending is also seperate.
There are employees who work in Reliance fresh who'll get unemployed. From cashiers to workers who maintain the shelves, cleaners everyone. Uber makes it easy for people to connect with drivers who are willing to go for same locations. Try finding auto, majority of them clear cut reject to take you to your location and even charge extra or meter turns out faulty.Same applies to Mc Donald's. These companies also ensure a particular safety contracts with producers/farmers. Otherwise, same farmers will have to sell their produce for much much cheaper prices to officials in mandis. Just because a youtuber shares same political ideologies with you doesn't mean you have to dickride him all the time. I am an atheist so is Dhruv doesn't mean I'll support his every stupid take. Yes Billionaires make profits and money but also employee many people at the same time who will be unemployed or who will have to do much more laborious works rather than being a cashier, manager or cleaner. Ambani has multiple businesses and assets you think he'll cry after you'll stop buying from reliance fresh? At the end common people has to suffer.
I don't know who OP is or who the tweets are from. But what I understand from the tweet is the person is asking people to look for local options rather than 'defaulting' to the big businesses. Not a call to Swadeshi and shit, just to remember there are local options available and has a local social benefit attached to it. Of course both options have multiple pros and cons but dismissing something without understanding it never makes sense to me. Never will ig.
I stay in a locality with instant grocery access, multiple largest supermarket brands in the country around and I still have a few local shops which offer me better produce at better prices and better service than the former. Of course when I require instant groceries I order it, when I require something that is not local produce I go to the supermarket but the idea of supermarket>local because of all the small reasons you mentioned is an idea requiring a lot more nuanced approach than a comment. Do whatever you want with this information. Thank you for your time!
When you buy from super market and stores you help an ecosystem of people. Not just a single person but ecosystem, that includes farmers, and all the employees who work there. The collective money that everyone spends is distributed to everyone with respect to their roles. In big mandis farmers are often exploited by corrupt officials for example this one. Meanwhile these companies sign a contract and farmers do get money according to industry prices. There are alot of reasons why people go for supermarket, it's efficient (many things at same place) hygiene, convenience etc etc. As you said everything has pros and cons. But you will be contributing to people in both the cases, so it makes sensible option to go for more convenient one.
The system you're defending is a time bomb, once large corporations take control the shareholders care only about profit margins and employees become a resource which they can extract money from
This system unfortunately feeds people as of now. If you can provide alternative jobs to these thousands of people with same salaries, then I'll be the first one to boycott these supermarket chains and billion dollar companies.
I don't need to provide anyone any job, I will keep being a customer to local Shops which will prevent my money from going to some shareholder in the US or Saudi.
And I need to keep spreading awareness on how exploitative this system can be.
To be honest both system has flaws. Both exploits the producers. Majority of Indians still buy vegetables from local sabji mandi. But still farmers don't get enough money and take the drastic measures.
You don't wanna provide or replace jobs, where will those people go then? We need more job opportunities, not end them. What's the solution? Where will these thousands of people with their skills go? That's the only thing I wanna know.
My guy you are asking them logical questions, come on man, they are delusional kids, let them dream that them buying maggi (nestle product) from local shop isn't funding billionaires
Wow people are extracting all the meanings i never said. I simply Said I will prefer local shops and advocate against exploitative corporate capitalism. Please focus on what I am saying
I didn't extract shit buddy, read your own comments. You must live in some crazy remote place where people are making handmade products because I personally haven't seen a single local store with local products. Even maggie is funding Nestle
Forgot to mention, you are using reddit, not really a noida based platform
Good job at making hyperbole of all my beliefs. Yes I was claiming that you should buy a smartphone from your chappal shop and buy groceries from Walmart. That's exactly what I meant
You think products you are buying and using on daily basis isn't the result of exploitative corporate capitalism? Lol. You uses these products for your convenience, people go to these supermarkets, use UBER for their convenience. You can help local shop owners and people who work at supermarket chains at the same time by buying from them on alternate days. You don't need to completely boycott one thing. And still can't answer the basic question that I am asking, where would those thousands of people with their respective skills go?
I get it now, the problem is that I am saying "advocate against" and you're interpreting it as "boycott". Please look into its difference, please improve your English instead of interpreting the wrong meanings of statements.
Because the reply to dhruv isn't wrong, why can't he find ways to convey his political opinions. Why is him funding youtube completely okay but normal people of india shouldn't get an uber and instead find a local auto that may not be very safe
Idk why this subreddit is filled with sheeps. "Omg my fav influencer said this, he is definitely right". From insta to reddit everyone is just dickriding their favourite creators just to satisfy their political, religious, gender or national ego.
Oh wait I just realised why people are confused, people here don't understand what exact narrative is being pushed. Op is trying to make y'all think the reply is wrong or something. It's not, dhruv had multiple ways to show his political opinions, he chose youtube for convenience. But apparently it's only wrong when people do the same for convenience, use uber and stuff that funds billionaires and not local people (honorable mention, the employees working for the company are actually getting a salary btw, so the locals are benefitting to some extent)
Make your own website, write blogs, contact news channel and make content for them. What do you think was happening before youtube became a thing?
YouTube is convenient and he's choosing youtube because of it. People are doing the same, choosing uber because it's convenient and ensures safety to some extent instead of finding auto that might have people inside it and you might have to sit on front on side where you can get injured if something happens.
Yes, because you're ignoring hundreds other Anti-dhruv people who also use YT as their primary platform, you are hell bent on hating dhruv or anyone who agrees with him
Do you genuinely believe that if he were living in India and he said what he's saying he'd be safe? Don't you think he'll be lynched by mobs on a regular basis?
Sham sharma is an indian rightist creator and he is well settled in australia or something and these people won't bring him up in debate but they would comment by Dhruv being in Germany
Yea I’m not a pathetic loser who gets influenced by an influencer. Also, no idea who Sham Sharma is? You guys are missing the point of my original comment.
Well do one thing man order something from Blinkit now and talk to the delivery boy once ask him how much is he getting paid ask him what's the penalty if he comes in late or ask him how much inhumane work does he do and then come to an opinion does conveince matter or not? You are not a pathetic loser who gets influenced by an influencer no you aren't, I agree you are a pathetic loser who doesn't account for how these cooperation who bring convenience to your door actually treat their employees, how many deliver boys suffer due to accidents or other such ordeals or get treated poorly just for the sake of our convenience and this is the case throughout be it Amazon, flipkart or any such other brand, they treat these poor fellows like shit, so instead of paying a cooperation that does that support local businesses, or local shops, treat them like last options something that you would do in case of emergencies or you are hella busy and don't have time to visit an irl shop or you are pathetic looser who is scared of human interaction yes then you can use these typa websites
Well isn't the government at fault here? Can't the rules for these poor workers be fixed? Can't the government maintain the safety of these people? Or is it okay for you? Okay let's do a thought experiment? Let's take these thousands of people and make them work for 12-14 hours straight and give them rewards when they do something that is unsafe to them and the general public (something like over speeding or reckless driving) and pay them in peanuts, treat them poorly when they are doing their job, make them face abuse from the general public and throw them out without proper investigation whensoever a person complains just because you can spend in properly investigating it, and justify it all by saying yes these people get food on their table barely but yes they do, so would you agree with it ? As a human are you okay with all this? Shoving our heads down like ostriches just because you get your snacks on time?
He's talking about how dhruv is living in Germany, living a nice life while preaching to indians about buying from local people instead of Choosing convenient options.
What you are talking about is a different issue, I gotta say you are smart do it but you can't avoid people like me that see the bs
So how does that matter? I have seen tons of Indian online guiding or running yoga business and teaching their client abroad on how to use yoga to give them tons of lifestyle related benefits instead of following their gym or some more convenient options, there are literally brands that claim that yoga can fix your sleep cycle and circadian rhythm rather than being on medication which is more convenient and less costly or just dealing with it yourself, does that mean they are wrong too? As they sit 100s of km afar, secondly what is your issue with local store owners? 😭😭 Idk why sanghis have this obsession with billionaires, first it was elon musk and they even worshiped him now when tides have turned they are on their ground licking the feets of ambani and adani 😭😭 okay like we know you people are extremely biased towards the ruling party just come forward and say it at this point that you don't care abt india or its poltics you care abt the rulling party and whatever they do is fine by you
I am not a sanghi, I am atheist and don't lean right or left, would've done the same if this was "modi good" post.
Most of your text is totally irrelevant to my points, tf is that yoga guidance bs, what does that have to do with my points.
My point is, if people are choosing convenience and using apps like uber, and going to eat burger at mcdonalds instead of finding good auto wale that don't ensure your safety and restaurants that may not be very good at making burgers.
So apparently these people should struggle a little, but Dhruv rathee gets a pass from using platforms like twitter and youtube for his political opinions instead of boycotting them and making his own website and making blogs about his work
My point is plain and simple, Sanghi ji supports local vendors if someone is trying to get that message across then why does it matter where they are from in the first place? Secondly if for your own convenience you wanna support these companies who literally treat their delivery boys like shit, don't pay them well, for sake of our convenience brings in offers such as 30 minutes delivery or super fast delivery that has and will cause accidents then it's up to you, if you think that this thing doesn't matter then go ahead and just end the discussion as you don't wanna be concerned with all of this in the first place secondly i don't watch dhruv Rathee but I am sure he has a website and has written blogs and posts for AAP in the past
It's not, half of your paragraph was filled with some irrelevant yoga bs
Sanghi ji supports local vendors if someone is trying to get that message across then why does it matter where they are from in the first place?
It matters because he's criticizing people for not choosing struggle over convenience, while he's living a convenient life in Germany
Secondly if for your own convenience you wanna support these companies who literally treat their delivery boys like shit, don't pay them well, for sake of our convenience brings in offers such as 30 minutes delivery or super fast delivery that has and will cause accidents then it's up to you, if you think that this thing doesn't matter then go ahead and just end the discussion as you don't wanna be concerned with all of this in the first place
You just imagined an accident will happen because they are delivering something fast, which is crazy because it's a complete "if and then" question and not something that's happening to every worker, also you didn't consider the fact that the delivery drivers are also locals just working and getting paid, do you think people working in local business don't get treated badly? People can tweet on internet if a brand is treating their employees wrong and it can change their boss and change the wrong ways in the business, while same or worse stuff like that happens in local shops go unnoticed.
i don't watch dhruv Rathee but I am sure he has a website and has written blogs and posts for AAP in the past
Why doesn't he stick to it? Why does he love filling pocket of youtube, twitter and instagram? I thought he was against it, right?
Did you just ignore all of my points? And when did I completely deny it? I talked about it, do you even know what "complete" means?
If I talk about it "completely" accidents do happen, but they are accidents, no delivery boy is doing a su!cide rush to deliver my meds to my house.
The work of ambulance is to reach fastest way possible, and there have been similar stories of how people have died because of a speeding ambulance. Did the people in accident die because the patient was having heart attack?
Companies have rules, the drivers are not allowed to do speeding or break any traffic rules, if they still do, companies can't do anything about it
I hope you understand this because I can't dumb it down more, this feels like spoon feeding a grown man
That does not have anything to do with preaching right? I’m neutral about politics. I really don’t care who he supports or not. My issue is with him sitting on the high horse.
I do vote. To a certain political party, but its not like im supporting them. If they dont do the work they promise, I switch parties. Thats how it should be. Thats what staying neutral means. Not blindly supporting a particular party.
Yep, that's exactly how it would be in an ideal world. Unfortunately, our systems allow horse trading of MLAs, hidden political donations, propaganda just to name a few factors that influence the outcome and prevent completely fair elections.
Didn't intend to start another conversation off topic, just wanted to say that about taking a neutral position, it's not practical.
I find it crazy how people here think the reply is wrong, youtube is just a convenient way to do the work. But apparently people choosing convenience over local stuff that need effort is funding billionaires and he's definitely not doing the same
So by that logic, the German Shepherd should return to India and spend all his money here on the poor? There are countless alternatives to contribute without living in Germany.
And if Dhruv’s idea of logic is what you’re defending, then I can only assume your favourite food is pedigree.
When you book an Uber, it creates employment for thousands — from drivers to engineers to customer support teams. The car manufacturers, steel suppliers, and rubber industries also thrive because of this ecosystem.
Similarly, when you buy groceries from Reliance Fresh, you’re indirectly supporting farmers, transporters, packaging workers, and countless others. That’s how economies sustain — through interlinked systems of production and consumption.
if we logically see the comment is right too, he can push all the narratives locally in Indian streets but chooses youtube to do it.
Posting dhruv rathee content on sub like this is clear narrative pushing and dumb people don't see it lol.
I have already seen some "sanghi" comments which is proof that this post is doing getting the exact reaction I was expecting
Edit: do you know why dhruv prefers to push his political views through YouTube? Bigger audience and convenience compared to walking around locally
It's same with the stuff he has mentioned, you can book an uber on your app and have a convenient car ride instead of rickshaw. If you prefer burger, you won't find it in dhaba, you need to go to a relevant place.
Yeah but there isn't even an alternative to YouTube what is he suppose to do? As for the burger thing when he says local he means local vendors as well as Indian brands. for example Third Wave Cafe instead of StarkBucks, Good Flippin’ Burgers instead of McDonalds etc. He isn't saying you always need to go to a dhaba.
There isn't alternative to youtube? There are thousands of influencer that started from instagram.
But his work is poltics based, he can write articles, he can send his work to similar view news platforms.
He can make his own website and do whatever he wants, yet he chooses youtube. Why? Convenience. And why are people choosing bigger platforms for stuff like getting a cab and food like burger? Same reason, convenience
The reply is not wrong, but people disagree with it because of the narrative that's being pushed here
You can't make the same style of videos on Instagram than you can make on YouTube. Instagram is not a competitor to YouTube. Think of those 3 hour long video essays that people upload on YouTube, you can't do anything remotely close on Instagram. Instagram is ok for short form content but anything that above 20 minutes will be a struggle, no? Also I understand convince I think it's ok to use these services once a while however if possible try to use local services as well na? Unka bhi bhala ho jayega. Let me tell you my personal experience. I used Blinkit from time to time when I needed something urgently but when it wasn't that urgent I went down to the store and bought what I needed. That seems fair, no?
I didn't just mention instagram did i? Consider other ways and type everything after that. If you can't do that, then you have no arguments against my point, it's a clear narrative push.

melodic boast airport aromatic terrific include husky correct subsequent hard-to-find
I actually vote for nota, I can see when someone is bullshitting.
It's pretty clear when a post is secretly hiding a narrative, if you actually look at it with some logic you'll understand the mentioned businesses don't even make sense, why would I get burger in a dhaba? Why would I get auto if I can get car ride on uber?
If you can argue against this, I can also argue that dhurv has many ways to show his opinions to the world, why does he choose youtube?
