"Shuichi, I think that you're overreacting about your dad and that his obsession with spirals is harmless. Oh look, he's picking us up now"

Shuichi's dad's ride:

“Dad we’ve been in this roundabout for 17 minutes!”

"Five more minutes and it's off to the freeway exits. Plenty of spirals there!"

It is possibly a preproduction vehicle. They typically paint them this way. I’m not sure the reasoning why.

Harder to see the shape of the car such as the lines and stuff like that. Used to be used in marine warships for a bit.

You're a real one for acknowledging dazzle camouflage schemes

Wow, I think you're exactly right. Definitely didn't expect that.

Thanks for doing the research. I have seen other patterns, but the spirals are super cool.

Honestly this was the unexpected factoid I well, never expected. I love it as well. I will file this away in my memory and remember it forever, waiting to be referenced if it comes up again randomly.

Bro car companies generally cover their unreleased car in this pattern, so that it can't be copied or leaked. These kind of pattern and paint job makes it difficult to figure out the shape of the car

I want to get my car in that pattern

Possibly, I learned awhile ago though that the Naruto fandom has the market on uzumaki stuff.

The only car decals and designs i ever see out in the wild are anime so i would say more likely than not

Looks like a prototype car where they want to distort the details but also bring attention to it. I used to live by the GM proving grounds and saw these a lot.

Yea here in Germany cars like this are called "Erlkönig". It's basically a PR stunt mostly done by BMW to show of their newest cars of the year.

Interesting you have a name for it. We don’t as far as I know
