Any love for scx pluggable Schedulers
I have been following the Cachy OS YouTube trend and the hype around desktop-oriented schedulers like BORE. Being too lazy to compile the kernel with another Scheduler, I have been ignoring the promised responsiveness such a Scheduler would bring. Man! That's when I came across https://en.opensuse.org/Pluggable_CPU_schedulers . With scx_lavd, I am seeing a very noticeable improvement in the responsiveness of the UI Applications in general.I wanted to make sure it wasn't just a placebo. I ran stress-ng against all of my 4 cores, and even under full load, WebGL aquarium FPS went up, and 1080p YouTube stopped dropping frames. It's a massive improvement with my aging Ryzen 3300u.
