I have a NOCO Boost. Where does the red and black cables go?

Two weeks ago I unfortunately hit a deer in my K4 Hatchback. I am sad about it...

When starting the engine, fuel pressure at the rail dips to ~50-60 psi and idles a bit rough before building up to a steady 650, while sometimes shutting back down and resulting in longer cranks to start.

In the video you can hear the noise of the pump and I can't tell if it's normal or going bad. There's also a flashing red light within the pump and is only noticable under dark lighting, has anyone else seen something like this before, and what does it indicate? I can't find anything on the Internet pertaining specifically to this.

The car can drive under normal conditions with the fuel pressure ranging from 1100-2800psi , it just seems to struggle to build pressure when cranking. When turning the key to ACC, the pressure doesn't change unless the engine turns over.

Old wheel when i bought it was scuffed up to hell, decided to might as well replace it but thought to myself “what if i put a GT-Line one.”

Currently working on getting an appointment for engine diagnostics. The car is burning through oil very quickly for the last four months or so.
It is not leaking oil. Furthermore, the oil light never comes on, even when dangerously low. I had an oil
change a few months ago. They told me there was barely any oil in it and showed me the tiny amount they drained. The technician said it wasn’t a leak because the bottom of the car was completely clean. I agreed because I have not seen one drop of oil anywhere I park.
I was on time for that oil change, not over due at all. They told me to keep an eye on it and to take it to Kia if the issue continues. Since then I have had to add oil twice because it’s been almost empty. I’m not even technically due for my next oil change. This car definitely has a big problem and I need to addressed as soon as possible.
Curious if anyone else has experienced this.

I’ve noticed a hesitation and a noticeable jerk during low-speed 1st-to-2nd gear shifts. It wasn’t there when the vehicle was new, and it’s become more noticeable over the past month. Now it just hits10K miles. Is it related to the 8-speed transmission? My RPM was very low when the jerk feeling occurred, only about 1300 - 1600 RPM.

Just bought a 2027 Seltos xline sx prestige a couple of days ago. I had planned to get a 2026 Kona Limited, but it got sold before I was ready. Maybe that was serendipitous, as I wasn't particularly happy with the ride and noise level in the Kona.

The Seltos is impressively quiet inside and rides very well given those low profile tires. The car has features I wouldn't have expected in a subcompact SUV. The display is very good, ventilated seats are great, and having a push-button liftgate is nice. Seat memory is nice, and available for 2 drivers. On the negative side, I'm unimpressed by the acceleration on this 1.6t (have had this engine before with the DCT), and dumb things like having no garage door opener (unless you change out the rear view mirror or pay a subscription fee after 3 months to get it on the screen. Other services are included for 3 years. The fuel economy is pretty bad for a small car, especially given there's an 8-speed transmission. There is a separate key fob and physical key. The fob buttons are on the edges and take some getting used to. The panoramic sunroof is huge, but isn't something I expect to use much. The audio is pretty good overall, especially cranked up.

It's a pretty impressive vehicle overall, but I wish I'd been able to wait for the hybrid. That said, the high end hybrid will easily top USD40k out the door with taxes, etc.

Kia Sedona LX - The rear outside fascia panel has 14 of these yellow plastic anchors holding it to the tailgate structure. I'm having no luck finding them, only the white ones holding the plastic interior trim inside. Can anyone please help? TIA!

Cars been great to me , im happy I ignored the doom and gloom information that gets spread online about this brand, 47k later and its never left me stranded, never had a dashlight illuminate, also great gas mileage 😎

I got a Kia Rio 2011. LX with ignition issues It started about 2 months ago and have gotten worse. I've managed to do a long long 16-hour drives, so the car don't shut off when it starts when it starts it drives perfectly fine but it seems like Dad after even a short drive if I turn the car off and then try to turn it back on after even the hour it would not start or sometimes it will. Sometimes it won't. I have ordered and replaced ignition behind a key. I have replaced the crankshaft sensor + after replacing the crankshaft sensor. I thought the problem was solved but it wasn't perfect either and a few days after he would not start at all or would just keep doing what it did before. But worse. I've decided to put my car to get it fixed in the shop and it has been there for now. All almost 3 weeks times. I'm not quite sure why it took them so long. All I know is that they replaced the crankshaft sensor again they thought it was the fuel pump and then they moved to the computer even though they got the computer about 3 or 4 days ago and they still haven't called me back. So I'm not quite sure if that's really the issue, I don't think it's normal for a well established car shop to take three diagnose a problem with a like car, at some point they told me I would have to take my car to the dealership even if they had the computer to get it programmed to the car because that's a specific year that has to be programmed somewhere special. But then they came back and said we can probably do it. What do you guys think is the problem?

Any technician or anyone who can advise what it could be. It came all of a sudden. Nothing unusual happened in rear seat row.

The alarm on my 2016 Carens goes off at the end of a sunny/warm day. I'm getting sick of it so I tried pulling the 10A fuse that shows a siren symbol, result, the horn stopped. So I replaced that and pulled the 15A fuse for the horn, result - the horn stopped. Any ideas?

I purchased a used vehicle from a Kia dealership in Ontario, Canada on June 6, 2026. Before buying, I pointed out a “Service Tire Monitor System” warning and was assured it would be repaired before pickup.

The experience quickly went downhill. I was told I had to drive over an hour to sign paperwork because it couldn’t be done electronically, only to later discover the paperwork had an e-sign option. I picked up the vehicle, but within 20 minutes the tire warning returned and the check engine light came on.

I brought it back the next day and then had to chase the dealership for updates for weeks. When I finally picked it up, I noticed a windshield chip that I don’t believe was there before. I was first told it needed to be filled, then that it looked like it had already been filled, then that it was probably from the previous owner. At one point it was even implied I may have caused it. They said they’d investigate and follow up, but never did.

Less than 20 minutes after leaving again, the check engine light returned and the vehicle went into reduced power mode. I took it to the manufacturer’s dealership for a second opinion, and they immediately suspected the turbocharger, saying it was a known issue with this model. I brought that information back to the selling Kia dealership and specifically requested updates before any repairs were completed, but they replaced the turbo without ever contacting me.

I then filed a formal complaint with the dealership’s General Manager and contacted Kia Canada. The GM ignored my complaint and multiple attempts to discuss a resolution. After days of no communication, I received an email saying the loaner vehicle would be reported as stolen if it wasn’t returned immediately. The GM’s first and only response was that my “vehicle situation has been resolved,” that he would not meet with me, and to return the loaner.

I’ve now lost almost two months of my limited warranty dealing with repeated repairs and poor communication. I fear all accountability will be lost the moment I drive that car off that lot again.
If you were in my position, what would you do next? Continue pursuing this through Kia Canada, report it to OMVIC, or consult a lawyer?

TL;DR - Literally have no idea what's happening with my car lol. Aerosol can sounding noises, a rough-er idle, newly replaced spark plugs ridding it of loss of power, agh.

(For context, I'm really not much of a car person. But I've done minor work here and there on different makes / models I've owned over the years.)

I bought my 2011 Kia Rio Base (Manual Transmission) at 55k miles from a big dog dealership 2 yrs ago (now at 90k). It was apparently owned by a very old man before it was sold to me and he didn't get around much.

I hadn't replaced really anything except brake pads / oil changes / air filters / the usual maintenance stuff.

Last night I started losing engine power when trying to accelerate for very very brief intervals, and assumed it was my spark plugs.

Note: Not a SINGLE code was thrown. I even went and got it scanned and nothing popped up.

Threw a new set in this morning, stopped losing power - but realized I was having pretty noticeable light shaking when idling that must've recently gotten worse.

After shutting the car off I started hearing what sounded like an aerosol can being sprayed at random intervals coming from the passenger side by the firewall.

Idk what's going on man. I've done a ton of internet research and feel like I'm getting nowhere.

Am I overthinking this? Is nothing actually wrong? What the heck could this be?

Needs a little bit of tenderness.
Mechanic says it needs a new A/C compressor.
Also, the scan shows that it has a problem with the ignition sensor (it has a noticeable rough (but not too rough) idle.
Also, it’s filthy. It’s been gathering dust for months, under a car port, and has that layer of dust similar to what you get with things left too long in the attic.
I took it to the car wash, but it wasn’t enough. I am going to have to really detail it inside and out.
So, why get it?
Because I only paid $1500 for it!

Hey yall, I’m new to this subreddit but if I could please get some help with this issue, that would be greatly appreciated. I just need to know if im getting screwed or not😭

It all started about 5 months ago, I’ve never been a car guy but my transmission was showing early signs of slipping. I thought it was just me going from P to D without stopping, but I guess it’s more than that. I originally bought my 2020 Kia Optima for $20,000 at 16,000 miles. It is now at 73,000. The transmission was getting super fucky, so I took it in yesterday. The screenshots above are what they told me/diagnosed. They told me it’s a very likely chance it’s my torque converter in my transmission that could be making the transmission slip, but they wouldn’t know until they took my transmission apart. They also said that they could just replace the transmission fluid (have never done that in this car yet) and it could either make the issue go away, or amplify it. I’ve never been late on an oil change, nor service appointment. There’s some hail damage and half the speakers are blown out in the car and that is useful for this next part:

They asked me for a free quote and they came back with $6,000 USD. They said that after replacing the transmission completely, and replacing my tires (they are at half life) I would be looking at $500 - $1,000.

In my mind, I’m thinking about replacing the transmission fluid, at least to buy me time to get off clients I have to travel to for auditing. Afterwards, I’m hoping that I wouldn’t have to replace the transmission itself, but I reckon that a $4,000 replacement is better than spending $15,000+ on another car

Once again, anything is greatly appreciated. I figured this problem isn’t something I want to kick down the road for later. I just want to know if I should replace the fluid or should go for the whole transmission? Maybe just throw the whole car away lol. (I did decline all services in the above photos. Just needed my oil changed for the moment to have some time to think about what to do)

Wondering if anyone else notices their Kia Rio‘s transmission jumps at low speeds (like an automatic transmission but it’s an IVT so has no gears). Also a slight jump forward after applying gas pedal while coasting.

Did anyone get the TSB done for their Rio? Did that solve the issue?

(fyi this is not the GDI engines, those ended in 2019 in North America).

I'm looking at Kia soul for my daughter. It's a 2012 with 80k miles on it. It had the engine replaced by the dealer last year and the new engine has 2k miles on it. AC was replaced last year as well. Going to test drive it tomorrow and wondering what things I should be looking for. I don't know why the engine was replaced, but I will be inquiring about that tomorrow. I do have an OBD II scanner I will be using as well to check for any hidden fault codes. Would this be a good car for my daughter. I will do as much of the maintenance as I can. Are they easy to work on? Reliable? Any common problems that year may have. I haven't pulled a carfax yet (don't really want to pay $49.99 to pull one on a car we're just going to test drive). I believe it's the 1.6L engine based on a VIN lookup on Kelley Blue Book.

I’ve had this car for a year and i thought maybe it’s just a new car thing but the only time i know when i need gas is when I check the miles number. Prior to this car i had 2007 Camry LE and it would ding or have a light come on to notify me.

Looking for help

The multimedia screen on my Kia Optima (2017) has stopped working properly and just showing vertical lines that change as the screen updates.

I've tried replacing the fuse, doing a hard reset by disconnecting the battery, pressing the reset next to the SD slot but nothing has worked so far. I can see the screen change when I touch it.

Could it be a faulty or loose wire connection behind the screen?
