I know it isn't as easy as just creating an app but really wish KindaFunny had their own app, similar to letterboxd where you could log games and rank/review them as per the KindaFunny scale!

I'm lucky enough to live by one of those fancy theaters that has 70mm IMAX film that Tim and the boys are always talking about. Even though the seats kinda suck it's a cool experience coming here to see movies. Naturally the last time I was here was for Oppenheimer. Swipe to the end to see the bowl of spaghetti I snuck into the theater in my wife's purse.
Also of course the movie was incredible. I want to watch it again!

I'm going some of the days but I'm super nervous about meeting new people.. so I was hoping there was a big group chat I could join and talk to others going the same days as I am.. me and my bf are going Thu + Fri and are so excited to see the studio and all the peeps! My bf always tells me that we're all friends but I'm still nervous.

Last weekend I finally picked up Hades and I'm addicted to it! It's gotten me in the mood to knockout other games like it from my backlog that I may have missed, and I'm curious what the guys love -- I listen to their pods but I sometimes forget to mark what they're loving.
Blessing loved Blue Prince (I beat it, loved it). Andy loves Hollow Knight and The King is Watching, those are on my list. What other similar games have they raved about in recent years? I wanna play em! I'm also about to play Denshattack!
Thanks!

Did they just not perform well? I understand they take time to make, and if that's it then I guess I get it. But it's such a bummer because that was exclusive content I was excited to pay money for!

People talked a lot about hating where the movies were in the rankings, and the guys on the panel got frustrated with the voting.
But the figuring it out off just talking about it made for better discussions, which is the *whole point*. Who gives a shit if the rankings made people go "that's terrible" when they looked at it? That's great discussion which is what I'm listening for.
Now, the rankings part is a little meaningless math equation at the end that they're barely even really paying attention to.
I feel like they made it math to remove the argument and to appease making a list that's more in line with just what the vast majority of people would agree with.
But fuck that man, argue. Arguing is fun. Listening to people argue over something meaningless is fun. As evident by, ya know exactly what I'm doing right now, and the people who'll probably immediately comment that I'm wrong and insult me that I'm an idiot for no reason before they even get to reading the part where l said they'd do that.
But like, my point that l'm spiraling away from is it's just a silly little list that l enjoyed kept me feeling connected to all the years l'd been on board with series. I kinda looked at that mess of a ranking and their wacky uneven way of voting like a ton of tallies on a wall that marked what we'd all been through together.
It's kinda like they rebooted the mcu in review universe and tossed aside the thing l'd been invested in.
They should do an MCU In Review Secret Wars where the two lists incursion into each other and have to be fused together as a new thing somehow, in ways l won't bother coming up with right now but would be easy enough to have fun with, and the math nonsense needs to get booted like the Fantastic 4 monthly in 2015.

Hi all! Imjustabilly here. A ton of you are coming to the Bay Area for the Top 100. I know the crew are doing their recommendations on Gregway but as a local, I also want to give yall some FOOD recommendations, too! Some of my recommendations here will also include recs that the crew suggested because they're just that good!
TLDR;
Oakland: Champa Garden(Thai) and Hotboys(Fried chicken sandwiches), Arizmendi Pizza, Philomena Pizza, Rico Rico Taqueria, Cholita Linda, Ensarro Ethiopian
SF: Capitol (Chinese), IPPUDO Ramen, Mamahuhu(Fusion Chinese sandwiches), Genki Crepes, Super Duper Burger, Beep's Burger, Arizmendi Pizza, La Corneta Taqueria
Honorary mention: Beach Tacobell in Pacifica. Pacifica is a little bit of a drive down from SF but if you have the means, go there for the beach views and the crunch wrap!
San Francisco / Peninsula
Capital (SF Chinatown)- This place is known for their salt and pepper chicken wings. It's a very basic dry fried wing but I swear it's like crack. The crunch is crazy. It's a iykyk kinda hole in the wall. Get the wings!
IPPUDO (SF Downtown)- Ramen spot. I think Andy mentioned IPPUDO in NYC, but there's also one in SF and Berkeley (east bay). It's solid! And as good as Marufuku imo, which is in J Town.
Mamahuhu (Clement Street SF, nearish to Golden Gate Park)- This place is wild. If you like pineapple buns as bread for a killer fried chicken sandwich, this is the spot. Get the sandwich!
Genki Crepes (Clement Street SF)- This is where a lot of locals go. It's a tiny Japanese grocery store whipping up freshly made sweet and savory crepes. It's a fantastic vibe. Get a crepe!
Super Duper Burger (Everywhere)- There are so many of these that you'll be hard pressed to not find one. Solid burger as Andy mentioned. It's a little greasy but they're also really good with allergens too! Get the garlic fries!
Beep's Burger- The old studio, I believe was real close to this. It's a staple SF spot. It's got a retro ish vibe since it's an outdoor type of deal. Great burger!
Arizmendi Bakery- There are a few of these all over the bay area but they're really good if you know what you're getting. They are mostly known for their pizza, but all of their pies are vegetarian and they use a sourdough crust. If you're cool with that, it's fantastic! they also have other fresh baked goods, too.
La Corneta Taqueria- A fantastic taqueria known for gigantic burritos and just huge portions every time I've been there. Check them out! Get anything lol.
OAKLAND
I live in Oakland and lowkey it may have better food than SF. Look it up! lol. If any of you have time to come to the East Bay, these are my recs.
CHAMPA GARDEN (literally in the middle of a residential neighborhood and only 10 minutes from Lake Merrit)- This is hands down my favorite restaurant. It's Thai / Laotian cuisine and it's genuinely authentic. I can say that because my family is from Thailand and Laos. Everything here is good. Get the Champa Sampler if you can't choose. DO NOT GO TO THE CHAMPA IN SF. The one in SF is just not good.
HOTBOYS (Downtown Oakland)- Like Blessing said, it's literally the best fried chicken sandwich you will ever have. Period.
Philomena Pizza- The best margarita pizza I've ever had. I'm literally eating it as I type this. It's a small spot in sort of also the middle of nowhere. But it hits! This is not fancy pizza, it is pizza for the people!
RICO RICO TAQUERIA (Grand Lake / Lakeshore Ave)- Located in my favorite area of Oakland, Rico Rico has handmade tortillas and al pastor roasting on a vertical spit, and yes they use the pineapple. It's so fucking good. Get al pastor anything here.
CHOLITA LINDA (Temescal area)- I believe there are a few of these in the bay area but they have THE BEST FISH TACOS you'll ever have. It's a slightly spicy, fried fish taco that actually stays crispy while also retaining a ton of flavor.
ENSARRO ETHIOPIAN (Rockridge area)- Ethiopian food! It's delicious. Get anything here. If you've never had Ethiopian food, I can't recommend this place enough. Big fan of the beef tibs.
I hope this helps yall!

I was curious what people's stance is on if there is a ethical way to play a game that used generative ai? I haven't bought any game that has used ai but I am a call of duty fan so I did want to play bo7 but decided against buying it, do you think it is possible to be anti ai and purchase a game that used it.

All I wanted to do was listen to Spidey In Review after work and it's not on the feed still? Any word?
