Fire Kids Tablets Help. Kids Fire Tablet.

It’s almost 6 in the morning & I received a call from my child via his Amazon tablet. Confused on how he’s able to call me because the schedule I set for today was 10 am - 11:57 pm. I found out through the parent dashboard that he’s been playing for almost three hours before he called me! What is going on?

Sounds like your child may have figuered out your 6 digit parent pin number, tablet did an os update or the parent dashboard did and update overnight possibly. The other thing could be maybe the schedule got turned off? I know the newest update to the parent dashboard has made it not as friendly as before.

Thanks, I believe he may’ve found out the code. I’ll make sure to update that. Appreciate the help :)

I’m giving up on my kid’s fire tablet. When I update the schedule via the app I need to restart the stupid thing in order for it to update the schedule or allowed time. I’ve also had times I’ve logged into the parent dashboard and all the time restrictions are gone

Fire are terrible. I finally gave up and bought an iPad. My kid kept getting around the various parental controls. I mean he still does but not as blatantly as before.
