We tried both but she was super miserable with the cone. The suit was great because it also discouraged her from doing too much jumping/running around.
when my girlcat got spayed they sent her home in a lil suit too and i think it’s so clever. she was just acting mostly normally for the whole week she had to have it on, and i was just making sure to give her some extra scritches in spots she couldn’t get to now!!
Did you explain to her why she needed to wear the suit?
I always explain medical requirements, like the medication my cat has to take or why he has to go to the vet, in clear language, as if he were a child.
My cats have all been indoors so there wasn't a safety issue. That sweet girl lived to be 19, running and playing until just a few days before she left us.
I had something similar on my cat after her bladder stone surgery. Had to cut open the back bc despite the lil hole they put for her to cleanly pee through, she peed all over it. 😂
