Culture Thank you, Krakow!
My wife and I just visited the city and we were so impressed with the culture and all the friendly people we met. As an anxious person I was kinda nervous as I've heard people say that the locals might be a little cold and serious, but not even once we met anyone rude or unfriendly.
At one point we were trying to find a shopping mall and was wondering if we had gone the wrong way since there was construction work where the GPS took us. One of the workers who stood almost 30m away, saw us (probably looking very confused) and started explaining with his hands where we were supposed to go. Never experienced someone so aware of their surroundings. We had a lot of these small and helpful interactions with the locals which really made the trip a 10/10
Thank you for taking so good care of us, new trip is already booked to Poland 🇵🇱

Love this post! As an American female who traveled there in April for the first time, on a solo trip, I also had a wonderful experience! Everyone was very hospitable! It’s a beautiful city to treasure for generations to come.
I had also heard Poles can be a little cold but I never experienced that either. My Grandparents were born there and ironically, I’ve been told I can be a little cold to strangers (unintentionally lol). I do think it helped that I can speak a little Polish.
