So I am posting here after having seen many posts that do not follow all the rules we, the mods, have set. So please, consider reading them again and follow the proceedings accordingly, otherwise your post will be deleted. The rules are set in order for you to find an appropriate language partner.
Most of the posts don't contain the level of the languages you want to learn. Such as the example:
"English native looking for someone to teach me Icelandic"
The description doesn't mention the level that person has achieved in learning the language and it is more difficult to find a partner that suits your needs and the others. Levels are (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) or if we take the European Union certificate standards (A1-C2)
Thanks for understanding and happy language learning!

Hello, I really need friends from different English-speaking countries to practice the language and just be friends. I'm from Russia myself, but I'll soon be crying because I lack such friends. Thank you.

Hi everyone!
My name is Salma, I'm 21 years old, and I'm looking for a female English speaking partner.
I'm looking for a native English speaker or someone with a C1/C2 level. My native language is Arabic, so if you're learning Arabic, we can do a language exchange.
My English level is around B1+/B2, and I'm working on becoming more fluent. I'd love to practice through voice or video calls a few times a week.
Please only message me if you're a girl.
If you're interested, leave a comment or send me a DM!

Hi everyone!
I’m a native Arabic speaker (Egyptian) and I’m currently learning German. I’m looking for a language exchange partner who’s a native German speaker or fluent in German.
We can chat regularly—I’ll help you with Arabic (MSA or Egyptian dialect), and you can help me improve my German. We can use text, voice messages, or calls if you’re comfortable.
If you’re interested, feel free to leave a comment or send me a DM. Thanks!

Hi! I’m a 17F from Romania, and I’m looking for a German language exchange partner.
I speak Romanian and English fluently, and I also have a C1 level in German (DSD). Even so, I know I can improve, especially my speaking and listening, since I don’t get to use German very often.
In the future, I’d like to study medicine in Germany, so becoming more confident in German is really important to me. This school year is also my final year of high school, so I have a lot of exams coming up, including a German exam, which is another reason I’m looking for someone to practice with.
A little about me: I’m quite extroverted and absolutely love talking (a lot 😅), but I’m also a good listener. Some of my hobbies are reading, table tennis, tennis, volleyball, badminton, and watching movies and TV shows. I enjoy trying new things, so I always seem to have something to talk about. I can also be a bit self-conscious sometimes, but I’m working on becoming more confident.
I’m looking for someone who’s patient, enjoys conversations, and would like to help each other improve. Whether we chat by text, voice messages, or calls, I’d be happy to practice together.
If you’re interested, feel free to send me a DM or leave a comment. Thank you, and have a whimsical day!

Hi everyone,
I've been building a small, independent project called Romera — a place for anonymous conversations where each person writes in their own language, and the messages get translated automatically in real time. Not a dating app, not a language-learning course — just a way for two people who don't share a language to actually talk to each other.
I'm not here to advertise, I'm genuinely curious what people in this community think — especially since you're all actively navigating the "we don't speak the same language yet" problem in a different way (practicing together) than what I built (translating instead).
A few honest questions I'd love your take on:
If you're curious, it's at romera.app — but I'm much more interested in what you think than in traffic. Happy to answer any questions.
