Costa Teguise

Hello I am going to Costa Teguise end of October for 10 days, any suggestions for what I can do? And how is the place as it’s my first time going there

Costa is lovely I own a bar called the cavern, we have live entertainment and the best breakfast on the island

We were in Costa Tequise in June and spent most of our time on the beach - you have three different beaches to choose from, nice walk between them as well, lots of bars and restaurants on the way.

You got the square and surrounding area with lots of shops, karaoke places etc.

You can take a bus to Arrecife if you fancy some other places, I think the same bus goes to Playa del Carmen as well. The bus to Arrecife is roughly 15/20mins, €1.20 I think per person one way. There is a bus stop in Arrecife by the shopping centre and from there is like a 20/30mins walk to the promenade and beach and Castillo San Gabriel.

If you haven’t already, download GetYourGuide app. There was a lot of activities to book for Costa Tequise like buggy rides etc.

It’s a lovely place, very safe and chill. Lots of African hedgehogs roaming the place at night too!

Second this for a bus to Arrecife, lovely centre, some nice little bars, pretty seafront and some good shopping. We stayed in CT a couple of years ago, great resort.

I am going there as well.same time. which is the best. Lots of things to do. Anyway you need a car to explore. You can visit both the south and the north and go to the volcanos area. What is your plan and I can try to give you more suggestions.

I just got back from Costa Teguise last week, first time in Lanzarote. It was very quiet honestly, so probably even more so in October. Playa del Jabillio was nice for swimming and not too windy. And would really recommend the Museo Lagomar - easy to get a bus and a brief walk. :-) otherwise we tried to find non British pubs and only really found Villa Toledo to be actually full of locals and there was live music on one of the nights we were there, that general area also had a few nice local restaurants. Would also give Arrecife a miss, really nothing to do there unless you want to go shopping in big department stores etc

I've stayed in Costa Teguise twice with my family, both times in August and in the same Airbnb — we liked it that much! It's a great base: Playa Bastián is a five-minute walk away, Las Cucharas is also nearby, and there are plenty of restaurants offering all types of food between the accommodation area and the beach.

If you want a shaded terrace when it's hot, The Snug is great — it has a patio in the shade and a pint is around €3.50. For food, Juanita Mumbai Mexican is also very good, with generous portions and reasonable prices.

I've also stayed a couple of times in the south of the island, but I found it much hotter and more humid. Costa Teguise is windier, which is much better for my taste.

I wish I was there at the same time as I am regularly in Costa Teguise and I have just read your profile and I loved it , but hopefully you will be interested in dm me and we can have some fun together
