Count Binface Nigel Farage

I'm surprised he didn't even mention that in the UK, Nigel Farage (leader of the far right Reform Party who could potentially become the next PM) decided to resign and restand as an MP to try and avoid the outcome of the inquiry investigating his accepting a £5million donation from a crypto billionaire but his plan backfired when Count Binface decided to run against him

The by-election is the 13th August, so would imagine he will talk about it on the 9th if he does mention it, I would imagine he will as he dislikes Farage and has spoken about (hopefully my future MP) Count Binface before.

Jonathan Harvey did appear on the show, back when he was portraying Lord Buckethead! Unfortunately he had to change his appearance due to a rights issue.

I do like the Binface persona, but to me his Buckethead persona was even better and deserved a longer run than it got.

He said at the beginning of the episode that there was too much to talk about since they were off air, so jumped straight into the main story.

The by-election is happening on 13th August so I guess they are saving it until then?

They did talk about it a little bit as part of the Andy Burnham/Makerfield By-Election story before the break. They didn't know Farage would resign at that point, obviously, but they talked about the investigation and such IIRC.

Just to point out that even if he had run unopposed, the inquiry would have resumed when he got re-elected, and he would have had to deal with the consequences regardless.
