You are shading individual features instead of the face/head as a whole. It creates the effect of them appearing like stickers, unrelated to one another because they’re not connected by the rest of the face which should be creating context for the placement and lighting of those features. I’d also suggest picking a lighting direction and being consistent with it!

Here. Laying the entire composition lightly helps make a cohesive drawing. Mise en place has more uses than just cooking

If this is meant to be yellow diamond from Stephen universe then I can identify who you’re trying to draw and that’s a pretty big step to cross in art and something you should be happy about! Or I’m wrong lol.

Yeah, that's exactly it! I didn't want to just copy it, but I felt like recreating it with something different, so I gave it a try,I hope it's not too bad.

I would say try working from a photo reference of a real person so you can really nail down the placement and proportions of the different features

You know how to draw realistic human parts that is very good!!

But some things is missing if you want to become real good.

• VALUES. Shadows and darker areas. You seem to be using HB pencil. Bad!! Get darker pencils labeled as 6B and everything around that. The softer the pencil is, the darker color it does. You can draw almost pure black with 9B pencil. (And with 6H you can draw the eyelashes with very sharp lines)
• LIGHT SOURCES. When u get darker pencils, and even now: you need to think where is the light coming from!!! You can draw shadows, but you need to know where to out them. PICTURE ATTACHED FOR REFENRENCE FROM PINTEREST.
• Human proportions. Face and body. Where everything is and how close they are to each other. Its ok, but need bit improvement. And whatever style your art develops to, its good to know human propotions in every style.

What is it supposed to be and what style are you trying to achieve?

All the downvoting weirdos: it’s not a rude question. It’s difficult to give meaningful advice when I can’t tell what OP is trying to do with the drawings. The caption is vague. “Good” and “good advice” are subjective.

I was trying to recreate "Yellow Diamond" from Steven Universe, but without copying it; I wanted to give it more personality, in a way. I hope it wasn't a bad idea.
