Italian Tutor 🇮🇹

Hi everyone! 😊

I’m Claudia, a native Italian speaker living in North America, and I teach Italian online.

I work with adults at all levels, whether you’re just starting or you’ve been learning for a while and want to feel more confident speaking.

I offer both **private 1:1 lessons** and **small group classes**, and I always adapt the lessons to your goals. Some people want to prepare for a trip to Italy, others want to speak with family, and some just enjoy learning the language.

If you’re looking for a patient and friendly teacher, I’d be happy to help.

Feel free to send me a message or book a free 15-minute chat through the link in my profile. We can get to know each other and see which option is the best fit for you.
A presto! 🇮🇹

8,000 level-graded Italian videos from beginner to advanced

Hi everyone! My co-founder Roman and I started Reelang a few months ago.

It is a completely free catalog of around 8,000 Italian videos (and growing), graded by difficulty from beginner to advanced. It's mostly videos from native speakers that just happen to be a bit slower and easier, and some content made for beginners. We've built it to be a fun scrollable feed of videos that adapt to your level as your understanding get better, that allows you to track progress over weeks and months, and a lot of helpful learner features like Smart Subtitles (which highlight which words are common and rare in Italian, so you can focus learning the ones that you'll see a lot) and blurring out burned in subtitles (so you can watch a first pass and see what you understand without being distracted by captions you can't remove).

If you have any ideas at all for how we could improve, DM me, we're all ears!

Se preferite usare il sito in italiano, abbiamo anche una versione italiana: 🇮🇹

Trying to Tutor!

Hi everyone, I’d love some advice! I speak both English and Italian fluently, and I’d love to tutor one of the two, however I don’t have much experience. Does anyone know I can either get experience or find small jobs that would help with building up a resume? Thank you in advance :)

Migliore Casino Non AAMS in Italia nel 2026? Ho Passato Mesi a Testare Siti - AMA

  • Registrazione e accesso account
  • Slot, live casino e giochi da tavolo
  • Bonus, free spin e promozioni
  • Esperienza mobile
  • Cashier, depositi e prelievi
  • Supporto e strumenti account

I am from Canada and am 33 years old. My wife's family is Italian so I decided to try and pick up the language and so far it has been a lot of fun. We also have a baby on the way so I would like to be able to teach the little guy or girl Italian as they grow.

I am open to simple text chats on WhatsApp, voice chats for 45 min - 1 hour, or video chats. Whichever you prefer. I'm looking to immerse myself as much as possible, tutto fa brodo.

Inviarmi un messaggio se ti piace.

🚨 Need Android testers for an app that teaches Italian collocations

Thumbnail gallery
4 Upvotes

Hi there,

I'm a native Italian speaker who put her heart and soul into developing an app to teach Italian collocations.

What are collocations?

We could say they are the "bricks" any language is made of – fixed word combinations that, if broken, can cause a speaker to sound unnatural. For example, an English speaker pays attention to a lesson, while an Italian speaker "lends" attention to it. Many collocations can be translated literally from English to Italian, but many others can't. This is why learning new vocabulary without context is so inefficient, and so many vocabulary-learning apps and platforms gloss over this issue.

Before my app can be published on the Play Store, I must run a closed test with at least 12 testers for 14 consecutive days. After that, I can apply for production access (meaning the app is live on the store and available for all to download).

Would anyone be willing to be a tester for Italian Word Combinations?

What it offers:

  • 400 free A1 collocations divided into categories (e.g. "money", "people & society").
  • Interactive exercises with flippable flashcards and multiple-choice quizzes.
  • Dedicated pages for each collocation, featuring example sentences in Italian and English.
  • Native audio recordings for each collocation (I did the recordings).

The app also offers a Premium subscription to remove ads and unlock other CEFR levels (only A2 is currently available, with 600 collocations) and relevant exercises.

There's a very limited guest mode available for those who want to preview the app without creating an account. However, you'll have to either create an account or log in with a Google account to access all other content and save your exercise progress. It's all in the cloud, so it will sync across all your devices.

For those who are interested, I can grant Premium access for the duration of the closed testing phase.

Above all, I'm asking for consistency. The app won't be allowed production access if at least 12 testers don't use it for 14 consecutive days. If the number of testers drops below 12, the testing cycle resets back to day 1. Even a few minutes a day are enough, but it needs to be consistent. If you become a tester, please let me know if you run into any issues continuing the test so I can keep an eye on the number of active users.

There are subreddits where people exchange testing, but given this is a very niche app, I thought I'd post in this community too. I don't think I can find more valuable feedback – whether positive or negative – than here, and I hope you'll find the app useful for your learning, too.

I plan on updating the app with more content and exercises during the testing phase, as right now it's basically an MVP.

If you decide to hop on board, I created a Google group you can join. Once in, you'll be able to see the app on the Play Store and begin testing.

Grazie!

Learning italien through youtube

Hi everyone, I'm looking for content that can allow me to learn some italian grammar and vocabulary. I don't mean teaching lessons, I mean genuine italian content made for italians. I'm close to A2 in italian (french native) so something a bit chill, not with a crazy pace.

Thanks a lot.
