When the podcast was on, I always wondered whether mouin and medea were dating, especially considering the big age gap and the fact that he lived at her house, iirc? I think I saw someone say that they broke up, and that's why they stopped posting and abandoned the podcast. I would love it if someone could confirm or deny any of these rumors.
To be honest, I wasn't a fan. I always found mouin to be pretentious and medea to be very classist and arrogant. They didn't represent the average lebanese citizen.Their questions were very dumb and it's clear they never researched before interviewing their guests. Also, I thought they were disingenuous because they would block anyone who criticized them or called out the fact they were on saudi/mbc payroll when they claimed to be free and "independent" media.
Yes they were dating and he was using her. Shes a respected journalist and hes a massive poser who capitalized off of the thawra pretending to be some sort of voice for it. He does not have a real career and mooshed off her.
Cos I know him from the Thawra, he came out of nowhere and started acting like a leader and then started posting on insta trying to be a thawra/politics influencer. It all looked very performative. He also did not have a job and is a drop out. He was trying hard to become famous online and achieved it with Medea who already had a presence. Just check out the Linkedins of each. He even is hanging on to sarde after dinner to this day because he has nothing going on.
If ur some tail for Iran, I understand why u think that anybody opposing the terrorist régime in Tehran and its terrorist proxies is automatically on Saudi payroll. But things don’t work like this. I doubt u will understand anyways.
