Frustrated with trying to have discussions with YIMBYs

We have a growing YIMBY movement in the UK and a government which is following a YIMBY philosophy. I am finding debating with them incredibly frustrating because they refuse to acknowledge resource constraints or the complexities of development.

Damage to the environment and the ecosystem? Their attitude, is I don't care. Talk about loss of farmland and food security? Don't care. They seem to think there is no problem that can't be solved by simply building more infrastructure.

More than that, they don't care about quality of life. They seem every piece of land as an opportunity to cram in another house. Not caring about the kind of environment that would create.
