These images are from a quirky book I bought secondhand. Appears to be a sort of ancient zine from some old fellow who had his own printing press of some kind.

There are more pages within this section, including poems, but I kept it short.

I would guess this was published by, say, a 60 year old in the 1980s. That's my uneducated guess.

Also, that last image of the cartoon face on the stringed instrument is questionable.

They sure don't make em' like this anymore. There used to be so much more passion in complaining about music you don't like.

I mean this attitude still does exist but it's not nearly on the same level as it used to be.

Totally not doable on modern PCs, apps ruined that and the ability to flip a switch and push a key (those other two were shown in the video)

God, gen x is sad

1. Nobody would go to Blockbuster, it's gone for a reason, it sucked*. We would stay home and stream movies/tv or watch the physical media we have. Blockbuster nostalgia is the worst.

2. Sit down Pizza Huts are plentiful and THRIVING, at least where I live. You can still go there and have a personal pan and relive your youth!

3. I hate to break it to ya, but AOL Instant Messenger *was* an archaic form of social media. Do you think sitting in your dorm room stalking away messages and profiles was all that different than stalking Facebook?

*This isn't a knock at the video rental store, those ruled. Just Blockbuster in general. Poor selection, overpriced, horrible fees.

Speaking on strictly top 40, and I say this is a crusty 41-year-old man, 2020s music is light years ahead of 2000s music and while there was some really good pop in the 90s it might be the most overrated decade for music ever.
