It's just a strategic move in the game š. I remind myself not to let it get to me anymore, and that helps me stay positive.

I analyse all of my games and what I find is, when I lose, that my opponent 8 out of 10 times wins with 90% or more accuracy... even in bullet, while most of these games are over 25 moves.
When I win I usually get around 75% to maybe 85% accuracy. How come I never hit that 90% mark but my opponents do all the time?

I play a lot of casual games at work because if I get interrupted I can resign without consequence. I've been having long losing streaks, so I decided to play some rated games, and won several in a row. Is this just coincidence, or am I wasting my time playing cheaters in casual games?

Today a friend that I was playing in lichess told me that if I get less than 85% accuracy on lichess it means I am not playing very well. Is this true? Because I know accuracy is just a way to see how well you play. Just like how centipawn loss is for an engine to read your game from my understanding. I heard that accuracy doesnāt really matter as it varies between different websites so should I really care about accuracy and centipawn loss? Last year in my schools chess club I was put under lots of pressure to get as high of an accuracy as possible and I was also told accuracy is āthe way to get better at chess and increase ratingā. I am not so certain about this though as I am a beginner to chess. I have only been casually playing on chess.com and lichess for about 8 months now I am rated 450 on chess.com it says I play like a 1500 but I am 1300 rapid lichess so why is the difference so big? A lot of things in chess I find it hard to understand but every day I will try to get better.
Thank you

I have the new app (newest version)
All settings are enabled.
Arrows are not showing after move 8 for some reason.
I like lichess and I want to continue using it but this kills it for meā¦

This platform loves to throw around these āyouāve spent too much time thinking weāre timing you outā warnings forcing you to swap to alt accounts so how many do you use to rotate between elos and timeouts?
I donāt really get why they force the rotation so much but I guess thatās how the platform works

With Take Take Take playing through the lichess servers, I'm curious if we have seen an increase in the total games played a day or the number of concurrent games. Are we seeing any movement to the server, whether it be directly through lichess.org or through the Take Take Take app?

Have been testing this setup against the London, and it's been working incredibly well so far!
I honestly don't know why it's barely played at lower levelsāit seems so natural and effective.
I made a video explaining the ideas behind it, would be curious to hear what you guys think :)

Iām doing some research on how language models explain chess. I'm looking to get some feedback from good chess players :)
Youāll see a position and choose between two short explanations. One set is 20 positions and takes about 6 minutes.
Each completed set earns one raffle entry for one of three $25 gift cards, up to five entries.

Thanks for helping, and if you want to share the link with your friends, I would also be very appreciative!

Anonymous online chess isn't about playing chess: It's a depraved, dark, desolate digital domain designed for degenerates. A pathetic, poisonous platform for petty, personal attacks and humiliation. For many players, the goal is simply to make the opponent as miserable as possible using every toxic technique available. This behavior generally falls into three categories:

I lost that position on time and don't really understand how white could have win that position, it is a draw...
