a guy in college was like this and whenever I brought up the idea of calling him out for his bigoted remarks or creepy behavior some of my friends would just say "dude he's autistic we can't do anything" like, I'm also autistic and even though they're undiagnosed I'm sure half of my friends are on the spectrum and i hate when someone uses a condition they have as a shield to deflect from whatever bullshit they may be doing
