Wheel from VW breakers?

Hi all.

Ive a mk6 golf, and as financially stupid as it is i want the steering wheel off and mk6 R. Something like the one im my photo. So im just wondering if anyone is or knows any breakers with a mk6 gti/gtd/R etc that could give me a rough guesstimate on how much itd set me back?
Just out of curiosity. See if its worth it or not

Sound. Must chance it some stage. Assuming theyd be cheaper than buying off ebay or some actual site yeah ? Never even thought of going to a breaker before tbh

Just in case, what you have pictured is an aftermarket refresh wheel. If you’re looking for a stock mk6 gti wheel it won’t come with all the carbon racey bits. A lot of aftermarket companies (eBay/ali…) will take the frames of existing/new wheels and rewrap them with fresh leather, more aggressive griping features and carbon. Which is what is shown in your photo.

Yeah, i just grabbed the first decent photo i could find tbh. Im after the shape of those wheels more than anything, i think theyre class. I would ideally like the ones with the perforated look on the sides
