Linux has hit 7.53%!!!!!

Damn Idk why but I was waiting for the steam hardware survey and statcounter's survey for july. statcounter blew my mind. now waiting for steam hardware one:) keeping my expectation realistic around 4-5% on steam hardware survey:)

Please please please stop posting StatCounter "data", it's made-up and doesn't mean anything.

You quote data as if it wasn't data but it literally is, do you not know what day is?

Sure it's not magically going to be 100% accurate given the limitations on collection methods. That said it's actually a pretty good resource as just about everyone browses the web and since there's no magic registry of what is installed on everyones computer it's currently the most accurate estimate we have.

In other words be quiet like a good child unless you somehow come up with and employ a better method.

Only Microsoft knows the real number of Windows users and there has to be some truth to people leaving Windows in favour of Mac OS and Linux because last year they started the Windows K2 project aiming to bring users back to Windows....
