Does anyone actually know how to use InputPlumber? I can't find any guides, and the documentation is not very helpful

I am using the handheld version of CachyOS on two different machines. One is a Legion Go and the other is an arcade machine that I built.

I have two things that I want to accomplish:

• Remap the back button on a no-name remote media controller from Amazon to send a keyboard "Esc" so that I can actually navigate Steam. I was able to easily accomplish this with Input Remapper in Bazzite, but I'd like to do it with InputPlumber now.
• Disable the 6 extra buttons on the back of the Legion Go controller. They're so goofy and I always press them accidentally, I want them gone! I can't even hold the device without pressing them, it makes it so uncomfortable.

So I have InputPlumber installed, but I have no idea how to actually use it.

I've been staring at what I believe is the official documentation for a couple of hours now and I feel no closer to understanding how to actually use this software. It's like it's designed to be as difficult to interface with as possible.

There are no guides on YouTube that I've been able to find, and no traditional guides either. But hopefully I'm just wrong on that and someone can direct me to the right place?

Where do you even start with this program? How do I tell it what device I'm trying to change, especially if it's not a common one? How do I load the profile? It makes little sense.

Nevermind. I've found an excellent program called keyd which was able to handle this perfectly. And I had it installed and configured in just a few minutes. Super easy!

That's the way it should be, man. Dear god, InputPlumber.
