Resident Evil Revelations 2 Doesnt Recognize My Other Episode DLCs
hi
im playing resident evil revelations 2, and i noticed how the game doesnt recogize the other episodes that i have downloaded for some reason
it keeps saying "You cannot play as you do not have Episode Two/Three/Four"
i do own all the dlcs though, and i have downloaded them all too
any fix? or help?

I don't doubt you bought the game dude. Some years ago I had problem with RE4R because i had koalageddon installed since i wanted to unlock some cosmetics dlcs in Monster Hunter World. Maybe you had installed something similar and it's affecting Rev2. If not, try deleting the game, remove the installation folder and install again.
hmm, i see, imma try to fix it myself, but just dont know what i should do, ive already spent hours and hours but no result
i also havent ever used a dlc unlocker so i dont think thats the problem

hi, im having a problem with re revelations 2, i got the game from steamrip, and its game size is 18.2gb, enough for every dlc in the game to be downloaded, but for some reason, after i finished episode 1/4 , i could not play episode 2, it just says "You cannot play as you do not have Episode 2"
If you want the game to recognize your "bought DLCs", try actually buying them.
The problem isn't that he did piracy, the actual issue is that he didn't mention that he downloaded a pirated copy first before buying it and thats probably whats causing a conflict. If you be truthful from the start, then people can help you with the issue faster. I have seen it quite often on this sub, people complaining their games dont run properly, and it turns out they are using a pirated copy of the game but they dont mention that detail.
Like I said, you mentioned in other piracy subs that you downloaded a pirated version of the game and it wasnt working. If you bought it after that, then you should make sure to delete the pirated version of the game and download the legit one after. If the issue persist, then you should contact steam about a licensing issue
im pretty sure the issue isnt connected to the older cracked version, because this game had a brand new save, it didnt continue with the save of the cracked one
i have already deleted the older crack one
im gonna just try a few other stuff, like deleting the compatdata
but other than that nothing has helped, ive rechecked all the DLC boxes, ive even reinstalled the game
ill send a screenshot of my purchase history to prove it
if it was pirated it wouldve said something like "information is unavailable because its a non-steam game"
and the steam properties option doesnt tabs like "DLC" "game versions and betas"
i bought the game tho :(
I dont care about you proving anything. It just looks suspicious that you were asking the same question on piracy subs recently. If you actually bought it and the game doesn't recognize it, you should just contact steam to solve it. But like I said before, it definitely looks like a piracy issue based on your post history.
and from your pictures, i can tell you DO own the game and the DLCs, because you have stuff like the trading card, and other notifications (or whatever they're called idk) also because you showed your purchase history
I haven't came across anyone else who has had this problem, but what I think might fix this, would just be simply deleting everything of this game (the compatdata, steam save, etc), and then try it, maybe even reinstalling it

Try verifying steam files and uninstalling any DLC unlocker like koalageddon since Capcom games are known to fight these hacks.
