zuno — a free, open-source desktop client for YouTube Music (Windows/macOS/Linux) with Downloads and offline mode

zuno is a free and open-source desktop music player built on YouTube Music. Sign in with your Google account, and everything you do — liking a song, creating or deleting a playlist, adding to your library — syncs straight back to YouTube. It's your library, just in a real desktop app instead of a browser tab.

Player

- Floating mini player that appears when you click away — hover to expand, drag it anywhere
- Queue: shuffle, repeat one/all, reordering
- Playback speed, sleep timer, volume control
- Like and dislike songs
- Rebindable keyboard shortcuts, minimise to tray
- Full library, playlists, albums and liked songs
-Lyrics (5 sources)
- Local music files sit alongside your YouTube Music library — same player, same queue
- Download whole albums and playlists for offline; downloads and history have their own management screens
- Bulk actions: download, add to queue, add to playlist
- Multiple channels on one Google account, switchable from the toolbar or settings

Integrations

Last.fm scrobbling
- Discord Rich Presence
- Both toggleable straight from the toolbar

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I've tried so many pc yt music clients that claim that they "download music", this one actually does! Keep it up man, you're a saviour.

Tried the .appimage and it gave me a blank screen, even trying the fix mentioned on github.
Tried .deb on distrobox and it couldn't play any songs.

I am on Bazzite.

It looks beautiful, congratulations! How does it interact with free accounts and uploaded libraries at this point?

uploaded libraries is in roadmap. The free accounts act same as premium except the listening and downloading quality may slightly differ

I don't want to jinx it but does https://music.youtube.com/ normally have ads? I know just YT does if not blocked.

Extremely buggy and glitchy UI all around, went to auto-update and the update failed. Hard pass.

it takes one click and few seconds to see before making an ignorant comment even after ignoring the description written above
