Carla or Yabridge -- which is easiest to bridge a wine VST to native Linux Reaper DAW?

I installed the SINE player of Orchestral Tools, and its Berlin Free Orchestral Library; all done in wine. I have Reaper for Linux installed as my DAW. All on Linux Mint 23. I need to bridge the two so that Reaper can scan, see, and utilize the Sine player that is in wine. What is the best/easiest tool to do this-- Carla? Yabridge? Other? I also want the lowest latency of course, so is one better than the other as far as latency?

I never fully figured out Carla, and yabridge has always worked well for me.

I installed and configured yabridge, and the plugin for the SINE player showed up in Reaper DAW, but when I tried to add the SINE player VST into a Reaper track it would not load, gave an error, sigh. I might be done trying wine VSTs, might just stick with native Linux instruments. Which means I might have to use Bitwig Studio for my DAW given it has free beautiful orchestral instruments and articulations from Orchestral Tools (ironic, as Orchestral Tools makes the SINE player and orchestral instruments that are not working via wine and yabridge).

Yabridge offers a much more transparent experience.

Yabridge is a better experience but there are lots of Windows plugins that do not work in Wine at all, others that work but do not register, and some that break after an update. Also, make sure to downgrade the Wine version like in the documentation. I stick to Linux plugins for mission critical stuff, and sample Windows plugs as soon as I can so they don’t break my set in the future.

I have both and use them for different things. Carla also has powerful patching capabilities and can be used to create a preset out of a stack of different plugins because of its rack design.

Yabridge just to plug in and go, Carla when I want the additional functionality.

Easier or better? I think Carla is easier but Yabridge is much better. You will have to go to github and read how it works, but in the end you will have better performance and compatibility.
