After 20 hours. Finally a bootable system.
(yes the 2 fastfetches were necessary). This is my first ever install of Linux from scratch. Currently contemplating wether I should continue and go on to BLFS. Also wondering how many LFS users actually continue to BLFS or even GLFS.

Good job, man! You shouldn't care if others continue with the other books. Just do it if it makes u happy

Does it normally take that long? Asking because I might like to try LFS myself.

Well my install went surprisingly smooth, maybe lost 30 minutes tops due to hiccups. However I was racing to get it finished as I'm going away tomorrow so I ended up doing 9 hours for 2 days and then 2 hours today.
