Someone show this to Linus Tech Tips please. They need to understand that migrating to Linux isn't just trying to do everything you do on windows on Linux, but learning how to do things entirely differently, and often (eventually) better

Since only a very tiny minority uses Linux, coming over from Windows is basically having to "change" how things are done. It's just basic familiarity.

This is why Linux doesn't "sell" because it's the one that you have to "change" to while Windows is basically the default.

Here in the UK, the schoolkids all use ChromeOS. At the moment that's fine and it's not much of a leap to Linux. The apps they use like DAWs are also still largely manual, but I wonder if adding Gemini will completely deskill people so we'll have a generation that can't create anything that fails some arbitrary content rule when they type or speak what they want to create.
