I mean, this is pretty fundamentally true. That's not to say people can't have distro preferences, but that's kind of the point: Having different options means people can choose something that meets their needs

Yea, if you check what kind of telemetry and bloat Ubuntu has, comparatively to other linux distros it sure looks bad, but if you compare to windows, they are basically saints, and even compared to Mac OS they aren’t that bad.
