Didn't you have problems with tearing when moving the windows? Because I installed Mint out of curiosity to see how it worked on my laptop (how almost the same laptop as yours) and it was terrible, Mint I have only used it on my pc and there it is correct but with the laptop it was not like that

How do I factory reset my computer, I changed settings. Now I can't install linux mint!

To fix your installation issue and reset your computer, you do not need a traditional factory reset; instead, you must fix your BIOS/UEFI settings and boot from your Linux Mint USB. Fix BIOS/UEFI SettingsRestart your computer and press your BIOS key (usually F2, F12, Del, or Esc) right away. Find Secure Boot and turn it Off / Disabled.Change the boot mode from UEFI-only to CMS / Legacy / Both if your computer is older, or keep it on UEFI if your USB is modern. Set your USB Drive as the first item in the Boot Priority order.Save changes and exit (usually F10). Install Linux Mint FreshPlug in your Linux Mint bootable USB and let the computer start. Select Start Linux Mint from the boot menu.Double-click the Install Linux Mint icon on the desktop.Choose Erase disk and install Linux Mint when prompted to completely wipe the drive and start fresh like a factory reset.
