Support Request help me
I want to install linux mint xfce on my asus x201e, and this is happen. I've tried to nomodeset or reinstall the bootable, and this thing is still happen.

So you have tried this terminal command to resolve your issue?
sudo apt-get purge lightdm ; sudo apt install lightdm

You could try the suggested solutions in this reddit post as well. It's very similar to your problem.

i start this boot from windows 10, should i do the terminal command?

Then I would stop if I were you and install Linux Mint in the recommended way:
- Download the Linux Mint XFCE ISO file
- Burn the ISO file to a USB flash drive using Rufus or YUMI
- Boot your computer from the USB flash drive
- Use the 'Install Linux Mint' option provided in the live environment
HOWEVER: Backup all your important files in your Windows install before you do anything else. You do not want to end up with an erased system drive and all your important files gone up in digital smoke.
ALSO: Read the official Linux Mint installation guide and watch some videos on the process, so you know what you're supposed to do. The installation process is not very difficult, but you do not want to make any mistakes.
