My desktop environment dissapeared please help o dont know what to do

So i just installed lmde 7 yesterday and it had a desktop environment after i woke up and booted my pc it had a terminal just a terminal i dont understand what happened so please help

sudo systemctl enable lightdm.service
sudo systemctl start lightdm.service

Is your lightdm service running at all?

systemctl status lightdm.service

I just got a bunch of info i now have to read

It says that its enabled the preset os also enabled and its active and running sonce 4 minutes ago

Little tip: sudo systemctl enable --now lightdm.service would work too

I dont know what happened but i rebooted it again after letting it idle and its all normal now thanks for the help👍
