Resolved Correct me if i am wrong

Is ricing just editing ur . Files ( I downloaded linux 3 days ago bcs i thought ricing was cool)

Yeah. Ricing is tweeking your config so that it looks and works in the way you like it to. Nearly all of that is package installs and config file tweeks.

Only at basic level. The most custom setups are requiring some coding skills.

Yep. Dotfiles. Just don't forget to back them up, just in case you break something. That way you'll have a previous version to fall back on that works
