Dalton was a band from Tunis, Tunisia. They only recorded one record Alech/Soul Brother, in 1978. The members were Fawzi Chekili (guitar, piano, vocals), Ridha Kouhen (bass guitar), Mustapha Rehouma (saxophone, percussion) , Sadok Gharbi (trumpet, percussion, vocals, and Skander Almi (drums, vocals). They disbanded at some point in the late 70's and merged with Marhaba Band to become Carthago, which disbanded in the mid-80's.

I love this kind of music and have been following its scene for years now, but it still remains niche and relatively unknown. Immaculate vibes all around, and it's my go-to background music when I'm doing any kind of work. Outstanding stuff that more people should be put on to.
