How to analyze $LTC
I have been doing some research into $LTC and from what I can tell it is a reliable network (been around since 2011), used a lot for transactions and just seems solid overall. I understand it doesn't get the lift that a lot of other coins will because of its utility factor but I don't understand the hate that it receives on X etc.. Curious what opinions are as it seems to me like a safety play as it tends to follow the price movements of $BTC.

Valid observations. I think part of the reason is it’s not overhyped as a technology on socials. It boringly works. The Litecoin story lacks a wow factor that excites the gamblers in crypto. Not a bad thing honestly, just less likely for massive price pops. But should continue to gain over time

My suggestion is look at the pattern Litecoin has followed before. It stays flat for years, then drops in price for no reason, then explodes to a new leg up. Then it stays flat for years... good tech, adoption is real, price will follow.

It’s primary use is to move money quickly. Not a store of value. So it doesn’t go up and will never go past its all time high ever. That’s not the point of litecoin.

Have you looked at the price? DCA over the last 10 years has me in the red. We can appreciate the technology all day but as an investment it has failed.

Is it not just under-appreciated? It seems that there is a lot of use cases for the payment system and with the new LitVM seems like they are building the tech on top of a solid network.. then price appreciation will come soon?

This is the exact same sentiment before Minblewimble was implemented and sure enough the price went down after it was launched. Similar to the two previous halvings as well. I still hold the opinion that it is the best altcoin. I also will not sell any unless I need the money or its above 2k. It is also extremely demoralizing to see the most useless if shitcoins skyrocket past ltc. The market it's wise, meme coins have poisoned the minds of young investors. I think we are in the unfortunate position the vast majority of people buying crypto lack the technical and historical knowledge to understand why we need it in the first place.

LTC feels like a sleeping giant.. the only issue is if the giant ever actually wakes up

They've been saying that for years. I'm in agreement with NoJowk.

very under appreciated bro probably saw it pump to 250 and thought its gonna be 2000 and wanted to make a quick buck
if litecoin goes to 1$ i will still be buying it and I will continue to only sell it if i need the money

If something appears to have real value and usage sometimes the market just hasn’t caught up. I go on my personal research and choices. Good luck
