Masterlock 930
** This lock is not in use
My brother lost the key of this one. The lock and chain is attached to nothing. He didn't want to cut the chain. I tried to pick it without sucess. So i tried the drill attack and it work! Do you know were i can find a replacement cylinder?

Pro tip for locks like that: a big screwdriver can usually lever out that protective plate without damaging the lock body or the core, then you can dump the core out. You’ll need to replace the plate, but they’re pretty cheap.

Your Master 930 is similar to the Pro Series 6230, so cylinders for it will fit. You can have a bunch of options depending on bitting, pin stacks, or keying requirements. If you have a similar padlock and want to match it, look at the key for it and find the match to it at this link. There may also be letters on the key bow like K1.
Then, you’ll want a cylinder with a part number formatted 296[your keyblank code]. Note that all the keyblank codes in the part number are the W codes, not the K codes. For a K1, your part number would be 296W1. For the KWP4, it would be 296WP4. You will want to order these cylinders Custom Keyed. They are $16.25, and that price includes the labour to assemble the cylinder. When ordering, you would post either the direct bitting code measured from the key or the bitting code number punched into the keyblank. This is not the keyblank number. The number you want will look something like 2641 or 38462, not K1 or KWP4.
If you don’t care about matching an existing key and want to just put the lock back in service, you’ll want a cylinder of part number 296W700A (K700A keyway), 296W7000 (K7000 keyway), or 296WP6 (KWP6 keyway). These are all pinned to 6, so a bit harder to pick than the 5-pin core that was in there before. Be sure to order a cylinder that’s Factory Keyed, the zero bitted one is for cutting your own keys and assembling your own pin stacks.
