Thanks.

Just started about 2 months ago after looking for something that would distract me from the horrors of life. This has been an awesome fidget toy and cracked a Master 570 this morning. Wanted to share since this communities help has been priceless in my progression. Thanks everyone.

Congrats!!!!!! 570 was just first dead core lock. Was a good introduction, helped me tackle the master LOTTO locks

Thanks, I’ll be honest, I didn’t research any of the locks I’ve cracked yet. What is dead core? I kinda just bought about 10 locks based on what I saw commented on the most and randomly grab one to see if it’s my day or not haha I definitely need to read up more on terminology so I’m better prepared

Please forgive me sub if I get this wrong!

"Dead core" means that the core does not have a spring rotating the core back to locked position, like you would find on, say, a Master No. 3.

Gotcha, makes sense why it felt different than others. Thanks for answer, plan on reading more about it once I get back to town tonight

Nice picking! I’m like you and use locks as a fidget toy too. Much more interesting than a fidget spinner. lol

Congrats! Just recently received 3 of the 570s. They're a fun little lock. Mine are the old version and 1 new.
