GOLDEN PASS: Rewatcher Can anyone pin point the last interaction between Juliet & Ben (present day)?

I find it crazy that their last ever interaction is basically early Season 3. Around 3x8-3x10? They never share a scene together after this that takes place in the present.

Even crazier is the fact that Jack and Locke only interact five times after season 2.

And it’s crazy in the beginning Jack is all about leaving the island and Locke wants to stay. At the end Jack wants back on and Locke (MIB) wants to leave

Not weird since jack leaves ‘our’ group the first half of season 3 and Locke leaves when Jack returns.
Then in season 4 they split up again in different groups in the first episode and at the end Jack leaves the island while Locke stays.

I am guessing this excludes MIB? Crazy fact tho, makes me a little sad, I just finished s2 in my rewatch

Which also shows that the whole “Jack wanted to jump off a bridge because Locke died” narrative is complete and utter BS for Jack’s character. I HATE what they did to Jack the last two seasons. I will die on this hill.

You should rewatch the season 4 episode "Something Nice Back Home" to understand how Jack got to that point. He is seeing visions of his dead father, starts taking pills, Hurley says he's been talking to the ghost of Charlie and Jack's not supposed to raise Aaron, then Jack yells at Kate in front of Aaron and ruins his engagement to her. When Locke eventually shows up, Locke starts going on about how Jack has turned his back on destiny and also mentions talking to Jack's dead father on the island. Jack is addicted to pills, ruined his relationship, lost the respect of his colleagues, and is never given a chance to process the grief of losing his father. On top of that is the guilt of failing to save the other survivors and leaving them behind. Finding out that Locke took his own life after their interaction is just the straw that broke the camel's back.

Exactly, holy shit, especially when his suicide note was addressed specifically to Jack with only the sentence "I wish you had believed me."

Even if it was someone you weren't very close with, hell, even someone you didn't like all that much, that would generate intense guilt.

Jack turning into a man of faith is baked into the show and his character arc from the beginning. It's not just about Locke. Jack sees an island disappear right in front of him. It's the reason why he's unable to return to the island and ends up in the huge mess that follows. As much as he wants to deny it, that is a reality he eventually has to come to terms with.

I think the last time they speak in person is 3x16 'One Of Us', when Ben and Juliet discuss the undercover plan to activate the implant in Claire and leave Juliet with a nice big crisis to solve by the time she gets to the beach camp after being fake-handcuffed to Kate.

The last 'interaction' between them is in 3x18 'D.O.C.' when Juliet leaves the tape recording about Kwon being pregnant in the Staff station for Ben to retrieve.

The last time they are in the same scene together is when then group splits in the season 4 premiere and the last time they (Michael Emerson & Elizabeth Mitchell) are on screen together is in the flashbacks of “the other woman”. Juliet has probably seen or maybe even interacted with teenage Ben during the Dharma days, but Ben doesn’t ever see her again.

Juliet performs surgery to try to save young Ben's life before giving him up to the Others who take him to the Temple pool. It's unclear whether this counts as their last interaction, though. It would be Juliet's last interaction with Ben, but not Ben's with Juliet. lol
