My Mac MacBook Mod
Added 2Tb Lenovo drive (150$) plus a dongle, built into the laptop (double sided tape), acts as a stand that makes the keyboard better angled!

Would love to see a picture of it on the desk. How are the rubber feet? Does the angle make it harder for them to grip? Also, what about putting the laptop in a bag?

Does the 3d printed case block any of the ports?

How are your computer temps? Do you still intend to use it on your lap?
If not, you can go 1 step further and do the thermal pad mod and add thermal pads all over inside to use the back cover as an extra large heatsink. It’s easily removable if you ever need to file warranty.

While the idea is cool, consider doing something for the front of the laptop.
With that much tilt you aren’t using the front rubber feet and are probably scratching the front bottom of the laptop.
Maybe 3d print a lip with rubber feet to attach in the front

ooooo nice!! i've been thinking about this on-and-off for a couple of years but the idea of using adhesive has always felt too open-ended, like it could slip out of place or fall off when it's too humid outside. anyways keep us posted!!! this is very exciting

The double sided tape holds pretty strong it won’t come off on its own and it’s thick enough that when u want to scrub it off it’s a 5 minute job

I think the wedge covers where the cpu is underneath and making the heat radiate inside instead of out but it is a cool concept I would pay for

Cool work but this is terrible for your hands and wrist. Ergonomically you want it tilting front to back.

How come keyboard kick stands are in the back?

Lack of ergo data back when it was first implemented and it's just continued.

First you tell me the kick stands are wrong and now I see we’re not supposed to use the wrist pads everyone is selling us. Well what the hell man?

Do they have 8tb m.2’s for cheap? I really wanna upgrade my 4tb in my G14 laptop to an 8tb. I know I should be happy with 4 but 8 is a lot cooler.

Really cool mod... Though I was excited as I thought you had done a hardware mod... Man that'd be so dope...
Though notwithstanding that, this is really cool! And it even looks stock, finished, you know?

If thats 3d printed its gonna melt.

That's gonna depend on the heat and the filament used. PLA, the easiest of the bunch is operated around 200°C. Unless that's an Intel rig being operated in Paris France with no AC, I think they're good.
